Mythos Question

For the first time ever, I am going to experience lots of cool, nice and expensive restaurants while on vacation. Why? I'm not taking my stingy DH, lol and am going with a friend. That way it's not so unaffordable, lol. (actually I'm just like him that way, too) My question: I had thought of doing Mythos for lunch to save $$$, but the dinner menu sounds incredible. We will be at Universal September 27 - 30 and the parks close at 6:00 p.m. How can I find out if Mythos will be open for dinner during my time period? (I had read they don't always stay open for dinner in the off-season) Thanks.

(Just an aside: we are booked for California Grill to watch the WDW fireworks. How cool is that?? That only thing sad is we are doing all of this "romantic" stuff . . . without our husbands, lol)

Man, I messed up and put this under trip reports. Does anyone know how to "MOVE" it???? Having a blonde moment.

Here is the phone number for Universal Dining. Press #3 after the voice prompt. 407-224-9255.

We were at the parks last November, when the parks also closed at 6:00. I asked for the latest possible seating and that turned out to be 3:30. I think the restaurant closed even before the park did.

But, I do believe the menu was the same for lunch or dinner. I had a delicious chicken dish - it wasn't just sandwiches and salads.

Enjoy!

Thank you TigerLilly's Mom. I was afraid the lunch menu would be a scaled down version. I will call them. Thanks again.

We ate at Finnegans in USO in march and it was great they even stayed open later than the park on St Patricks day which meant we left park at 9pm after it closing at 7pm way cool:jester:

I LOVE Mythos. The menu is not watered down for lunch. When we were just there they had an "express lunch" menu whish was limited. That's for people who are in a hurry to get back to the parks. If you like chocolate, order the warm chocolate gooey banana cake--YUMMMMMMM!
We splurged and had dinner at Tchoup Chop at the Royal Pacific. It was also wonderful. Service and food were exceptional!
