I read somewhere that you can make a reservation at Mythos, and enter the park to eat there without paying for entry as long as you leave within two hours. Is this true? And if so, would it be possible--and would it be ethical--to use any extra time before the two hours runs out to ride Spider-Man? And pushing the ethics to the limit, could you use your HRH key to get FOTL for the ride?

If you folks think this is naughty, I won't do it.

I don't see how it's possible. Yes, we do have a mythos dining pass. You make reservations ahead of time, go to guest services and show them your credit card. They confirm your reservation then issue you two hour passes. Upon your return, show them your receipt, then they rip up your credit slip. If you are more than two hours late, they charge you the number of tickets you were issued, full price.

Even if you ran and had fotl access, there is no feasible way of getting to the front gate to mythos, have a dinner (even if it was rushed), get to spiderman, then get back to the gate is 2 hours.

Not to mention it's cheating the system and unethical.

I wouldn't try it. Invariably, the ride will break down, you will exceed your time limit, and you will be charged for a one day's admission.

I used the Mythos dining pass once to bring a friend in for lunch. We found that two hours gave us just enough time to get to the restaurant, eat, and get back to Guest Services.

I suppose you could try to just have dessert or something, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Thanks, I won't try it. I wish some of these parks would have a late arrival or short-term admission option. Maybe they get full enough so it's not worth it to offer that.
