Mystic Manor???

I have seen people mention this with overflowing praise. I looked at a ride through on Youtube and it really doesn't look like anything spectacular, more of a glorified Haunted Mansion ride.

Can anyone that has experienced it first hand speak about it and why it is considered so great? Curious here as I would love to eventually visit all Disney Parks.

Mystic Manor ride on a magnetic floating carrier. 4 of those carrier form a train to go in together and they swap position in between scenes. So if you ride on carrier #1 will have a slight different experience from riding on carrier #2, #3 or #4. Since it is magnetic "floating" therefore it could do 360 turns and it looks magical because there is no railing to be seen anywhere. (Just like the Winnie the Pooh ride in Tokyo Disneyland).

It's a joyful ride and the "monkey" <- the key character in the ride is so cute. Of course it doesn't justify to come visit for this one ride. But don't forget RC racer and other attractions in Toy Story land are also unique to Hong Kong Disneyland.

Mystic Manor also is intensely themed with amazing detail. It's one of those rides you want to ride over and over cause each time you will see something new. I also enjoyed it because the story was "fresh". Not tied to a movie you know?
