Mystic Dunes? Marriot Harbor Lake? WorldQuest?

Currently we are planning to stay onsite but going with friends who are thrifty. There is a groupon deal right now for 2 BR deal at Mystic Dunes for our travel dates. We would be spending ~$450 per family for the week in a 2 BR condo vs $1000 per family for POP or $1250 per family for CBR. We would each need to rent a car (which we will probably do anyways) so it brings it up to ~$800 for the week for this resort vs onsite. Anyone have reviews of this resort? Pools for the kids? Cleanliness? Space for 2 families (8 people, 4 kids aged 4-7 and 4 adults). DH and his pal are planning to golf, so any information on the golfing at Mystic Dunes, pricing etc. would be great as well.

Other properties we are considering are Marriot Harbor Lake and World quest.

Well it would be a little crowded, but a lot less crowded than 2 rooms at Pop. Plus, you have to factor in the money you can save on food with a full kitchen, and the convenience of having coffee and breakfast available in your own unit. I don't like having to walk anywhere to get my coffee in the am, like at Pop. And maybe it was just me, but our tv at Pop only played the Stacey channel. (??? why???)

I like Mystic Dunes. Its so close to Disney and my kids love the pool with the waterfall. So I guess you just have to weigh losing the EMH vs gaining more space and a kitchen.

On edit, with kids those ages you should really consider Harbour Lake. Your kids won't want to leave the resort!

Mystic Dunes is a nice resort and very close to Disney. With kids that small, you could share beds or throw two of them on the floor in sleeping bags and you wouldn't even need to use the sofa bed. The master bedroom has a king and the second bedroom has two beds. Can't recall if they are doubles or queens. You'd save a fortune eating breakfast in the condo and could pack lighter by doing a bit of laundry while you're there. That is a great price, by the way!

We just stayed at Marriott Harbour Lakes. The 2 BRs have 2Q beds in 2nd BR. It is a VERY nice resort with great pools (pirate ship), kids activities, etc. We also stay at DVC and Harbour Lakes is of equal (or better) quality, IMHO. It is near SeaWorld and very convenient to WDW.

We decided split stay at CBR or Pop and Marriott. However Marriott Harbour Lake is booked solid for our dates so we are at Marriott Grande Vista's instead.
