Okay, I noticed this on all three of our trips this year.

So the bus is heading to MK and leaves SSR, by heading down Vacation Club Drive, past OKW, and to the traffic light at Bonnet Creek Parkway. The bus turns right and heads past POR and then reaches the end of Bonnet Crrek Parkway, turning left to head past FW and WL towards MK.

At the intersection at the end of Binnet Creek parkway, there is a huuuuge construction project going on. Land is cleared and it looks as though they will have a road going through. Just wondering if anyone knows what this is or what it is for? There is a golf course there too, so I'm wondering how the project will affect the golf course.

It is probably the Waldorf Towers and Hilton hotel. They are supposed to be connected by their own convention center. It is a HUGE project. I think the projected opening is sometime this fall. That might not be it, but that is the general vicinity of this new project. :thumbsup2

No, the Hilton hotel and Waldorf hotel are over near Caribbean Beach resort. The one mentioned by the OP is the Four Seasons project. I'm not sure what all it consists of, but for sure includes golf, residential, fractional, and hotel.

There were 2 golf courses there: Eagle Pines and Osprey Ridge. Only one is currently open. (not sure which one.)

Unfortunately, Eagle Pines is no more. Osprey Ridge is due to close, I forget when. But you might want to keep that in mind and if you're going to play golf. consider Osprey Ridge while it's still available. And it does make me wonder what plans Disney might have when their 5 golf courses become three. Every time we've been there, all the courses receive plently of play.

It doesn't seem to me like they are getting very far with that 4 seasons thing.

Hey We were there in July and asked our bus driver, he said Disney sold it off 2 years ago and they are building a hotel and house that will start at 1,000,000. He was very sad about the whole thing and said that walt would be so upset This is an outside company it is no longer Disney property. The houses will be regular house for people to buy not just for vacations. (I guess the people that buy them can do what ever they want with them.) So sad. That is what we were told. I don't know how true it is.

Disneynutz post has the link to the article in Orlando Sentinel. At least they sold to Four Seasons. I'm more concerned with what is going to be developed on western edge of property although I do not know if they've outright sold that property too or just leasing it.

:)
