I do alot of mystery shopping at home to supplement my income. I certainly am not looking to turn my vacation week into another work week for me by any means, but I figure I would ask to see if anyone has ideas. Does anyone know which companies mystery shop WDW? I'm not looking for hotel shops and a completely paid vacation since I'm already booked....but I am assuming retail and food there needs mystery shopping just like the rest of the world. I am primarily thinking ON SITE....like in Downtown Disney or licensed places in the park. I would be looking to pick up a couple of shops here and there at the parks/downtown. Anyone know?

I also do lots of mystery shopping/editing. Not sure which companies would work on site - I wouldn't be surprised if Disney handled this in house. That being said, you can finds tons of shops in Lake Buena Vista/Orlando....just depends how much of your vacation you want to spend working.

Yes, some of my 'regular' companies seem to have openings in Orlando, especially the outlets. As you said, though, I don't want to spend vacation running around...just want to hit places along the way within the park/grounds. Thanks, though!

i've always been intrigued by mystery shopping. I get those spam emails about it all the time and i just can't imagine really being invited to be part of it. Was it difficult to get into?

Not hard to get into but you cannot make a living on them. Some take a lot of work for the amount you get $5- $30. Once you sign up for job you can't cancel so make sure you are available. Depending the area you are in they fill jobs fast. Some companies if you do something they don't like you don't get paid no matter how long you worked the shop. There also could be some up front out of pocket expenses.

I used to mystery shop when we lived in CA because my friend referred me years ago. Can someone recommend some legit companies...i can research. its been 10 years since I have done it and now live in another state

Just like any other profession, it takes time to earn a good reputation. I think this is especially true due to the fact that as Mystery Shoppers, we work almost entirely remotely. You will be successful in this field if you are reliable, can be objective, observant, abide by privacy clauses, and follow instructions exactly. I disagree with the previous poster that you cannot make a living in this field. I have been Mystery Shopping for years as my only income. There are a lot of us out there. However, there are more people who do this on a part time basis as a way to make a little extra cash...or to get reimbursed for gas, oil changes, hair cuts, dinners, etc. If you are truly interested in learning the ins & outs of Mystery Shopping I would suggest joining the Mystery Shopping Forum, you will learn a lot!

Market Force has McDonald's and Publix that are very close to property. Maybe some others too.

As others have said, it's in house. That said a bunch of the third party vendors are shopped including valet, credit card use, restaurants along the Boardwalk and Disney Springs. As a shopper just put in the zip or area when on your regular boards and maybe you will find some of the shops.
