I am luckily sick from work today. Really, I am. I just hope I get back from the doctors quick enough for 9:00 here! Tracy, how's that cough coming along?

I made it to work today. Haven't worked yet (been here 1 1/2 hours) No dusting of the credit card for me. I have a December date to transfer on April 4 so at least I don't have to worry about all of the deposit right away (my guess is they will be $350 pp like for the 11 day on the Wonder). Hope you're home by 9:00 Jill!

This was on the "other" MED cruise thread....

It was announced in our local Tenerife paper this morning that the Magic will be calling in Santa Cruz de Tenerife Canary Isles on the 20th of May 2007. (These could be the volcanic isles)
I am so pleased because that means even if we can't cruise on it I will at least get to see the ship

Tracy, nice to hear I'm not the only one! I've been at work for an 1.5 hours also....and haven't done a thing! (LOL). I think I need a raise for all of this hard work! I should've just stayed home today! I'm WAY too distracted to accomplish anything.

I've been looking at Tenerife, just beautiful. Cadiz also looks amazing! If the Eastbound repo is boarding on the 19th and going to Barcelona before Gibralter on the 21st that doesn't leave much time for France or Italy. I'm guessing the Westbound repo is going to start in Italy.

Here's my prediction:

Venice, Barcelona, Gibralter, Cadiz, South Hampton, & then a quick stop at Tenerife on the way back to Castaway. Whew! THAT sounds like fun!

That makes 3 of us! Got here at 7:30 and signed onto the boards right away. We have many blocks up at work, so far the DIS boards are okay. I'm still getting some things done, but my heart is here!

I believe she meant the Westbound. My guess is she's confused because she did the return trip last time and that was an Eastbound. Too many repos, too little money

This a report on mousesavers:

"Not already on Disney's waiting list for the special Summer 2007 itineraries? Disney will open the remaining staterooms to the public on April 4, after existing waiting list requests have been filled. Disney has stated that there will be some availablility left in stateroom categories 4-12 when they open bookings."

So I guess they won't be taking any new reservations for a while if this is correct.

It's going to be made from 11:00 to 11:30 EST today and Disney has made the live feed available to networks, but I'm not sure if anyone knows who might be carrying it?

Ok, so I'm a little excited! Thanks for correcting me Tracy. I meant that the WESTbound trip leaves on the 19th of August...not the EASTbound. Tracy is right. Too many repos in my head!

I wonder if the DCL website can handle all of us checking the new itineraries at once?! I hope they have some talented technicians on hand when we blow the servers up!

I wonder what Tom McAlphine is eating for breakfast (probably a Mickey waffle)....smug look on his face! I'll bet he feels pretty important today!

Even though I am in Orlando, are they really going to interrupt regular programming to announce this? I m guess the first place to hear it on tv is the 12pm news.

Where else would it be announced? The Disney channel?

Is there anyway we can find out from a reliable source where to tune in for the announcement? I'm envious of those at Epcot. Is there a website that we can go to to watch the live feed? Come one. Disney has to have come up with a way for the world to view this.
