Myrtle Beach in April ?

Thanks everyone for the info. DH's surgery went perfectly, and we have a followup on April 3rd. so no plans will be made until after that. YIKES! I really don't like making plans so last minute but that's the only time we can go. I am looking at The Ocean's One Resort in North Myrtle. Hopefully it's as nice as it looks online. Anyone stay there?

I'm so glad you mentioned this as we just booked Dunes Village for mid May! We have a 1 year old so I'm hoping the indoor kiddie pools will keep her happy as I don't want to take her out into the sun too much

OP here I'm posting to recommend anyone going to MB to give Oceans One a call. Unfortunately we didn't get to go on our much needed vacation. My DH's mom ended up in the hospital 5 days before we were to leave. Knowing that I would lose my deposit I called the hotel to cancel our stay. Teresa suggested we postpone our trip. I told her that my MIL was ill, and we wouldn't be able to travel for months. She said "no problem" pick a time and we'll rebook you. So I would like to pay it forward by recommending this hotel for consideration to anyone going to North Myrtle Beach. We rebooked for September, and I'm counting the days. Thank you Oceans One!

I'm not really sure, I've never been before. We'll be there in 25 days so I'll know soon enough

Sorry to hear your trip was postponed. Hope your MIL improves. You will love Myrtle Beach in September. The weather is usually gorgeous; the water temperature is still OK for swimming in the ocean, at least in the early part of the month. I checked out the hotel but didn't stay there (we wanted an older hotel that we could keep the door open and hear the waves). It looks beautiful. It is in a convenient location. Have a great trip.
