Just wondering if I'm the only one who is having trouble getting their points credited from MyPoints? I finally got points from September 4th credited - I emailed them about 10 times to get those points credited. I always follow the links from their website and make sure all my purchase information matches with my account. (I finally set up a spreadsheet to keep track of the contact dates, tracking #s, etc...)

Is there a trick to making these credits happen more quickly or is this typical?

Thanks in advance for your responses!

I've never had a problem with MyPoints. Any time I shop through them or take advantage of one of their promotions, I always get credited for the points within 7-10 days. In a rare case, it has taken me 2 weeks to get credited with the points, but I've never had to wait more than 10 days at most to get credited with the points. I love MyPoints! :)

I never had a problem with getting points credited, my problem was with getting my rewards sent. Strangest thing. I had never had a problem before, then on two separate occasions, I ordered a applebees gift cardin April 03, then later I ordered the Mrs. Fields cookies - same month. They never came. I contacted them about it and went back and forth for literraly 6 months, before the gift card finally came in the mail. They kept telling me it was sent, and I hadn't waited long enough. I never got the cookies, and their last response to me was that they were out of stock. I thought they ordered them from Mrs. fields directly.

I've been a member of my points for years, and had never had a problem with them until now. I've given up on the cookies, and am just weary of ordering from them anymore.

That gives me hope that things will get better! I've made multiple transactions through the links on their website but only 1 was credited without having to contact them.

I'm beginning to wonder if MyPoints is worth the hassle?? I finally have my September purchase points credited but nothing from October or November has been credited.

Is this typical? (I've only been doing MyPoints for 4 months so I haven't tried to redeem points yet.)

I rarely have had troubles with getting the points. I think I've only had to send them a few emails over the years..... Keep hanging in there.

And then there was the time I got extra points....but we won't talk about that. :)

I just keep wondering if there's a problem about my account in specific???? I don't get the points credited, then I email them and they keep telling me the points will be credited in 5 days but my points from September 5th were finally credited yesterday.

I joined MyPoints because they were recommended on the Mousesavers site. I have quite a few points now but am feeling like this could get pretty confusing over Christmas if I have to keep track of all the emails, follow up emails, etc....

Thanks everyone! The poll looks split on the question so far! Keep the votes and comments coming!

No it is not just you, I never get my points credited when I am supposed to anymore. I used to never have trouble with them and they were my favorite reward program and now ever purchase becomes a problem to get credited. I practically have to beg. I go thru the proper links and always have to send them an email. I do eventually get credited my points but it is more work than I should have to do to get the points. I have read several other complaints on these boards about the same problems.

Sorry to hear you're having problems too. :( I need to start emailing them about the points that haven't been credited from October.

I think it would be an awesome program if I could get all these issues worked out.

I've been a member for a long time now, and the only time I ever had a problem with points being credited was when I shopped with overstock.com I recently bought from drugstore.com, and it took 45 days for the point credit, but it had said that prior to shopping there, so I expected it.

I've never had a problem redeeming awards. They usually arrive within 2 weeks after I order them (the majority are there within a week)

It's a great program, so be patient with it & enjoy!

The only purchase points I've had credited automatically were from Dell. I'm glad you're having better luck! ::yes::

I have been having problems this entire past year. I'm not sure if it's due to IE6 or if it's due to the connection I primarily use - Cablevision at work.

I have had to write to them multiple times. I get emails telling me I will be credited in 5 days, and a month or more goes by with nothing, and I have to write again.

It's hit or miss with member care, too. Sometimes they answer promptly, sometimes nothing comes at all.

Before I went to Disney I had to fax them 7 different orders for which I was waiting for points. Last week I emailed them about 6 different orders that were waiting for points. Now I'm doing my Christmas shopping through them and I am really hoping things will be credited.

If it's a direct click after the order - like the Tupperware clicks - I will get the points. I was shocked the other day when I received the 1,000 points for ordering the NY Times.

Of the 6 things I complained about last week, 2 of them were re-submits - one for baby age (they kept crediting in 2 pt. increments) and Best Buy (they had promised twice before but it took a 3rd email to get it).

I'm hoping everything else will come through - I'll have well over 7,000 points when they credit. The 2,000 for FoxStore is a favorite.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
