Has any one else noticed how many of the MyPoints surveys now ask you twenty minutes of questions and then tell you that you don't qualify? One has to wonder if anybody actually qualifies for the full points?:confused3 It seems as though they are getting the survey info without actually rewarding you for your participation. Qualifying used to be a half dozen questions...

Amen! I have thought exactly the same thing so many times.

Need basic bio/demo to see if I qualify? OK.

Asking me every single brand of an item I can think of, how often I purchase each, what leads me to purchase each, how much I'm willing to spend, etc., and THEN telling me I don't qualify? Infuriating.

The one that REALLY got me this morning was in regards to the Reid/Angle Senate Race. Watched an ad from each of them, answered the questions regarding how they both made me feel, answered questions before and after the videos about my feelings regarding them. If they had done a good job, were honest, had crazy views, if I agreed with their views, etc...Then asked about my views, liberal/conservative, party affiliation, and likelihood to vote. Then I didn't qualify! Of coarse not. You just got my participation in a political poll without forking over the 50 points that were promised. Whatever...

I usually try to do them - unless they start asking too much info about my kids, their ages....etc....a few questions ok but I totally agree with what you're saying OP. Most of the time I just hit delete or start to do them and if it goes on too long I'll hit delete then too.

This is exactly the reason why I don't even bother any more. By the time I get through the qualifying questions, I've given them my 50 points worth of time. No way am I going through all that to either 1) find out I don't qualify and not get the points or 2) have to answer another 20 minutes worth of questions to get the 50 points. Just not worth it IMHO.

Most of the time on the MyPoints surveys I purposefully try NOT to qualify within the first few questions so I just get the 10pts and am done with it. If I make it past the demographic questions I can often figure out from the next few questions what they're looking for so I can make sure I'm not it, lol.

I refuse to do the surveys. NO reason to know my actual birthday, etc...

I have found that most often when I seem to do a full survey and then am told I didn't qualify, I actually did and the points show up the next day.

I actually haven't been doing the Mypoints surveys at all lately. but, I just did one, that took me a 1/2 hour and then at the end it said, sorry it didn't work or some such nonsense! Sorry. I am p****. I wrote to them I will see what they say. It is the new deal seeking mom one. How is everyone else doing on the site?

I had one last week that asked all about travel and Vegas 20-30 min, It thanked me, then a Sorry you didn't qualify screen came up! I was mad and emailed them. They replied that it is normal to have a 20 questioneer just to see if you qualify. I noticed I did get paid for it though.

This! :thumbsup2

I just delete all the mypoints survey emails - I can make decent money doing surveys through other sites - at 50 points a survey that comes out to about 20-30 cents (based on redemption value) that is ridiculously cheap.
