MyPoints - Random Points?

I just checked my balance and was surprised to see how high it was. I just cashed out and haven't made any purchases that weren't credited. I checked my statement and there is a 1,000 point credit from MyPoints Member Care made on 19 Mar 2003
12:00 am.

Has anyone ever seen something like this before? I don't want to try to cash out the next time and find out this is an error. Should I email them and ask what it is for?

I did send them a question a few days back which they haven't responded to. Could this credit be because they didn't respond in a timely fashion?

I was all excited because I had received a random 400 points! Then came here and saw that you had gotten 1,000!!!

I will say that I wrote to them earlier this month about some points from December (overstocks.com order), but I got those 400 points already (week or two ago). So I don't know where these came from. I did have to ask them about the points a second time because they missed them in my first email where I asked them about a Wal-Mart 500 pts. and the Overstocks pts. (got the Wal-Mart pts. that time, but not the others).

Not sure where these are from, but I hope they stay! LOL!

I am waiting for a 1000 pointer, and a couple of 200 point transactions to post. They were suppose to be in my account by today, but no such luck. Had to email them again.

I have to say how much I love My Points. It is my favorite, and although I click here and there under other rewards programs, I only make my purchases through My Points.

Yes I've has a discrepancy or two. But it was always resolved in my favor, unlike other rewards programs. And I honestly don't have a preference for the systems where you have to e-mail confirmations back. They don't always guarantee you'll get your credit, although you'll sure get your junk e-mails and spywares.

The best rewards program for me definitely is My Points.
