mypoints double points

Oh I just had to write this. I know that the promotion for 4 points for shopping for dads and grads was already posted on these threads, but believe me I forgot about the promotion. I thought it ended when father's day was over. I just ordered a barbie canopy sheet and skirt from JC penny's for my daughters newly remodeled room and thought I would be getting 2 points for every dollar spent. Imagine my shock when I just went to the site and realized that I get 4 points per dollar until the 30th!!!

And, yes, for inquiring minds, it is being SHIPPED before the 30th.....I know the fine print

For some reason I always have trouble getting my jcpenney.com purchases to register with mypoints. I made a purchase that was shipped in mid-May that I am still trying to get mypoints to credit. My first e-mail to them I was told that it takes up to 20 business days to credit purchases from jcpenney.com. Now that it is past that point I wrote another e-mail asking for the points to be credited.

I'm hoping since it's their mistake that I'll get the double points even though I would not have had they credited me promptly.
