Sorry if this has already been answered, I've been trying to find it but can't seem to.

We are doing a split stay in October- OKW from 10/10-10/16 and Kidani 10/16-10/17. I just added my tickets to my account and the magic bands popped up for Kidani. Looks like we are able to get Fastpass+ for 10/16 and 10/17. We were planning on going to the parks from OKW and then over to Kidani that evening. Will we be able to use fast pass+ that day if we haven't yet checked in?

Also how does this work as far as tickets? Will we still be able to use the same park hoppers that we're using at OKW on the magic bands since days will already have been used?

Since we are staying at OKW when it gets launched there is there any possibility of making them work for our tickets and fastpass+ for our entire trip (I know it won't work as a room key)??

Thanks for the help!

If your MagicBands are set along with your tickets in your profile, the MagicBand can act as your admission media. I do not believe it is required to check in first, and the ticket associated with the bands can be used the entire time until exhausted.

I believe the same applies to the use of FP+ - I think you can use FP+ selections on the day you check in to Kidani before you actually check-in. Not certain but someone else might be able to verify.

They should be able to activate the bands at OKW for use for the room key and room charges. However, the system currently restricts FP+ ability to the first day of the reservation that is at the active resort.

Thanks for all that info. If we are using magic bands to get into the parks the whole time, I'm assuming we'd still be able to use our paper tickets then to get fast passes for the first half of our trip when fast pass+ is not available?

Thanks again!!

Another question about this...I think that I should be part of the test based on my 10/11 check in date, but it will not let me do anything with the manage magic bands link. I called Disney, but they said that CSR is not part of the testing until 10/14...on the Dis it's being reported as 10/7. Is there anything else I can do?

I saw the exact same thing on another thread today. Seems like 10/7 may have been a mistake. :(

I'm sorry if this has already been answered, but as there are so many pages on this, it's a little daunting to search through every post for my answer. I am trying to schedule Fastpasses for our trip starting October 26. I keep trying to add the FP+ for watching Fantasmic!, Illuminations and such but it just won't let me! I'm starting to get really frustrated! :furious: Are the 3 FP you are allowed a day included in the fireworks? How do I "request" those? Someone please help!

IllumiNations can only be scheduled as a fastpass + for weekends. If you are looking at a weekday, it won't show up.

As for adding them, yes, you can pick a nighttime show as one of your three FP+ selections, but they are not offered on every date and sometimes may show up on the list closer to the trip. You will just have to check back for them if you are not seeing them.

You must pick them as one of your three selections, you can't add them as an extra.

Well I was ok with the fact I missed out on FP+ for the first half of my stay, even ok that all the resorts would be testing by the end of my stay, but knowing I missed out on PURPLE band by one month!!!!!!!!

Has anyone seen purple as an option yet? We're going in November and two family members want purple.

Yes they are included in your 3, and they are not available every day.

Can we do the fast pass+ or magic bands I'd we made our reservation thru our visa rewards point site. I can't add my res. to my dis experience. It's not a dis reservation number.

Staying 4 nights mid-oct; checking in 10/16 Wilderness Lodge. Bought 2 day park ticket with waterpark option, plus attending MNSSHP. We'll probably add at least one more day to park tix provided weather cooperates and we aren't too tired.

Looks like I am eligible to book fastpass+ for only 2 days of my visit. So I assume # of days is dictated by my park tix? (Vs the # of resort reservation days?). Has that been others' experience?

Sorry if this is a repeat - I'm sure this question has been asked/answered before by others......I searched but didn't see anything.

Yes. Fastpass+ is a function of park admission, not of a resort stay. The only relationship to resort reservations is that you must have one to take part in the "testing".

Sorry if this has already been asked, but I have searched a couple pages and cannot find it. I am staying at ASMu in November, I see lot of other people getting magic bands for there resorts already. I thought all resorts were being rolled out in November, but I have no option for MB or FPP... Is it because ASMu doesn't get rolled out until November so I won't get an offer until then?

It is because NO ONE is getting the option for November yet. All resorts will be eligible before the end of October, but they have not enabled anything for November check-ins yet.

Ok that does help, I just kept seeing people getting them with November dates, but I think they also had October dates as well. So I guess its just a waiting game until November gets released

Is it possible to change the park for FP+ the day of? If I make Epcot FP+ but we decide to go to MK that day will it be possible to change those FP+? Can this be done the day of or the night before?

I have seen people say they can change the times or rides in park but what about the whole park.

Yes, you can change the park so long as you haven't used one yet.

So....we aren't traveling until July 2014. I have an AP and the rest of my family will have tickets from UT. Is it recommended that I just wait and not try to link any tickets or passes yet until they have this figured out? We wouldn't even be able to book FP+ until May, right?

Better off just waiting with the issue they seem to be having with UT tickets

There is no benefit to you, so I'd wait.

I would not link or rather "try" to link the tickets from UT if they are the RFID ones.

If I knew of the issues beforehand I would have returned or not ordered thru UT and just ordered our tickets from Disney.

I would have avoided All this stress over the linking issue and for what I saved a whopping $56. Ironically this trip is the first time I ever used UT
