Yes I linked all the park tickets and they were all successful. They show up under Manage MagicBands under each of my family and friends. They show as a green ticket though and not bands. Tried to access FP+ but I got the calendar but can't pick FP+

Same issue as me... You should be able to do FP reservations. I called Disney said they see problem took info suppose to fix it LOL

Which number did you call? What do you see when you lick mange your bands? Do you see pic of a card with the numbers or a pic of MagicBands?

You won't see bands unless you've customized bands (and they shipped I think...)

I see tickets under my name and my two daughters (I manage their profiles). My wife has her own MDE so it how's under her login.

So even with these green RFID tickets, I should be able to pick my FP+ , am I not correct? When I click on FastPass+, it takes me to a calendar with the current week shown. I get a pop up window saying "We're sorry! The selected date must be within at least one party member's FastPass+ selection window."

If I look at the calendar, it says "Your party is in eligible for FastPass+ selections on this day."
 

I was a tester at AKL last month. I am here again and staying at WL. WL is not a test resort. IT told me WL should be able to link my room here to my MB. The CM and supervisor were both afraid to try. The manager jumped at the chance to try to link and it worked!! All features are fully functional and I still love it! Thank you WL cast members!

But if I use my iPhone or iPad MDE app, and look under Tickets & Passes, it doesn't show any of my park tickets. I read somewhere that it takes a day or to after linking them for them to show up? Is this true? This could be why I can't pick my FP+.

Yes that's why you can't pick FP+ should not take that long as least that what the Disney IT guy said. My MNSSHP tickets show up.. Get this I can schedule I days worth of FP+ from those., LOL

Or it could be because MyMagic+ hasn't rolled out to Nov arrivals yet? My dates are Nov 4-13 at Pop. So I might be stressing out over nothing if that is the reason why I can't select my FP+, after all, I haven't been officially selected for testing.

That is most likely it!! Nothing has been mentioned as far as resorts for November that I'm aware of. :thumbsup2
 
I was just looking to see if you had mentioned your arrival dates! November info hasn't been released that's (so far) the only reason you aren't able to set up your FP+ :)
 
We are traveling with family who are staying at a different on site resort. We have MB's and FP+, but they don't (and can't). I made a couple FP+ reservations for our whole family, but there is a good chance that one of my dd's will chicken out on a ride or two. Does anyone know if another member of our family (who does not have FP+) could use her MB for that ride? Has anyone had experience trying to do this?

My apologies if this has been answered already - but a quick search didn't bring it up.

Shouldn't be a problem at all from what I have heard... Band doesn't even need to be on their arm. So they could borrow the band easily for a ride or two.
 
Did you just link the reservation today? I think it can take a day or two for the tickets to show up...but you shouldn't need to do anything.

If it's been a while and they still don't show up, I'd call.

I linked my ressie about a week or more ago. I was able to customize my MB a couple of days ago.. If I don't get anywhere with the FP+ by next week, I'll call.. Thanks for the answer.. What would we do without Disboards!!! :eek:
 
We are headed to the parks this weekend - have a few questions:

- I added my APs to the MDE app. Will they automatically be "attached" to our Magic Bands, like can will we be able to use MB for park admission? If its not automatically linked, will the CM at check in be able to do that?

BUT....if the APs are on the MB and we use them to get in, will that then prevent me from using the AP cards to get fastpasses?

We are going from sept 26- oct 9 to POR and booked on the UK site. We could link our MYW package and our MNSSHP tickets and all our dining ADR's
On MDE on my laptop I can see all tickets on both of us. (My son has his own account, but we linked them) And on my iPhone app I can only see the MNSSHP tickets and not our parktickets.
But we could make FP+ on the laptop and in the iPhone app.
But if your stay is in november, you can't make FP+ yet. That was in the beginning also with my october FP+. They came available later.

Now I am still looking at the Be Our Guest lunch FP. But the only available date is sept 26. Nothing later then that date, but I can choose of dates from sept 26 till oct 2. Is strange, but hope they open the later dates for this.

It should be automatic, but if not, the CMs can take care of it.

No, you will be able to get regular FPs fine with the APs whichever media you use to get in.

So there is something else wrong...more in a second... :)

Don't trust the app. It has various display issues where it won't show things that should be there. Keep with the web site for the initial setup, etc.

Ta da!!!! Nothing is set up for ANY MagicBands or Fastpasses beyond people checking in to a test resort on or before October 31st.
 
For anyone interested...the Princess Fairytale Hall is opening on September 18th and is showing up in FP+ for that week when I check options.

Today is our 60 day mark, I was told by a CM about a month ago, that by this time (meaning September) everyone would be able to start making FP+ picks, however we can't make any FP+ reservations... I guess this CM was being optimistic and it's still in the test phase.
