The normal "invite" time is usually about 10 to 20 days out. Some people don't even get one. Your bands are starting to become available around 30-40 days out now. The general consensus is if you can customize the bands you ARE testing, even if you don't get an actual "invite".

You still get the invite, but I got mine 2 days after i received the bands and about 5 days after i could customize them.

I think the reason people haven't answered your question on any of the threads is because no one has any concrete info to give you. We've only got the most basic info on how these tests have worked and picking up tickets early is a very specialized detail that no one has reported yet.

Theoretically, you should be able to use the MagicBand with the ticket attached as soon as you get to Disney. But luckily, you still have three months for reports to roll in.

Thank you for at least answering me. I know if I set up the fp with my magic band ahead of time it will be sent to my home. But I'm preaty sure it will be set up starting on 11/11 and if I try to enter the parks on the 10th, it probably won't let me. I know I have a couple of months but I have to make a ress for the dessert party on the 10th and this will be the only time I can do this due to other family members leaving on the 11th. I guess I'll just take a chance and make the ress in the hopes someone will post that they have done this. As far as calling anyone on this matter is useless because they all say its not allowed or they never heard you could pick up your tickets early.

Checking in on the 29th of September and just had FP+ options show up today for our entire trip. Although the only one we really really wanted for our whole trip wasn't an option , Fantasmic. We've not seen it in years because the line is always so long. Wonder why it only shows up for some testers and not others.

I also wonder, even though you link special event tickets (MNSSHP) it won't let you book FP+ for that day, stating you've already used up your FP selections for the number of ticket days you have.....it doesn't count special event park tickets

Yay!! Just found Wishes, Spectro magic Parade, and Daytime MK parade as FP+ options for 9/21!

I am getting those options now too! Thanks! Question - if I have a great spot for the MSEparade with FP+ then is there a need for a FP+ for Wishes - or should I/can I just stay put?

I'm glad you did but in reading the boards on the subject some people have said they never did get an official invite.

I'm guessing since you said 'too' that these options weren't showing up for you when you first made your FP+ selections? I sure hope that Fantasmic shows up for us......today is the first day FP+ has shown options at all and Fantasmic isn't listed .

Both. Never have really needed a FP for September before so the thought of having decent viewing of parades without having to waste hours sitting on the curb is fantastic! Plus the fact that we are in the park for 10 days, we have FP+ for all the stuff we want.

Jason - Not sure why your judging about how others decide to use their FP+. And I believe that exploitation is a strong word to use when talking about a theme park.

I just signed up for our FP+ for our trip in October and we will be "exploiting" our way around the park.

I'm even more excited when they start providing additional FP+ opportunities to guests in Deluxe resorts (in which we stay twice a year) and then exploitation will continue then also.

We received our Magic Bands a few days ago. We will be arriving a day before our reservations and staying at a non-Disney hotel. Can we enter the parks without checking in, or do we actually have to go to the Poly before we can play? I know that last time we stayed, we had to check in before going to the park, but I'm not sure how MBs change that.

I hv a split stay - first chkin 9/21 and next chkin on 9/26. Got a band for ea chk in but dont know if the trigger was bcuz of the 21st.

Also fp+ only until 9/29 as of yesterday - gonna chk again today if my 9/30 has opened.

Could someone PLEASE help me. Iv asked this question many times (on multiple threads) but no one will even talk to me. I'll be going the second week of November at POR. We have a room only reservation on the 10th at Pofq and I need to pick-up my tickets early. If they roll out the magic bands will this be a problem? I have six day parkhoppers and plan on adding a day at some point. Is anyone here plan on doing the same thing? Has someone completed there trip using the magic bands and have done this same thing.

As of right now november is not being tested so just keep watching here bcuz this is where i found out i wad in...not fr disney.

Still looks like if you check in in October that it doesn't work though, maybe it's just Sept. trips extending into Oct?.... or maybe it's just us? We check into POR Oct 8, still no luck.

So if I understand correctly not everyone gets the same fast pass options? I was hoping for a princess meet fastpass it Fairies but only the standard Mickey & Friends were available.

It's all a bit confusing since the My Disney Experience website just launched for us Canadians.

I did get to customize our bands so I'm happy about that !

I have a question that I don't think has been answered before. We are going 9/7-9/14 and I was wondering if it was possibkle to do the FP+ for just 2 or three days. If I can do this, will I still be able to use the regular FP on the days that I don't use FP+?
