I am at AoA and I can still only book out until 9/28 for FP+. I am able to select a day past that, and then select the people that I want included in that FP, but then going to the next screen (where you'd pick your park) I get a pop up that states 'there are no FP's available, please pick another day'.

I am arriving 9/29 and just discovered this on the site (didn't know it existed!). Tried to have a play but I get the same message "there are no fastpasses available, please pick another day". I get that message for all my dates through to 10/5. Am staying at BC so if there is a trial for those resorts that would be awesome, will have to keep checking back!

Where "almost every hotel" == four, I guess. MOST have not done any testing yet. A few more are being added for September it seems, including AoA, BC, POR, and Poly.

Off the top of my head, those still not participating are all the DVC resorts (including those attached to others, with the possibly exception of AKV), the All Stars, POFQ, CBR, CSR, WL and GF. That's still a lot of resorts to keep WL company.

Agreed we are staying at SSR and it has not been tagged as a test resort yet!

I apologize if this has already been answered...haven't read the entire thread...how do I preorder magic bands? Do you have to be picked to participate in fastpass+ to be able to preorder or can anyone now pre-order if staying on property?

Right now you can't. It's only being offered to guests of certain resorts that are included in the latest round of testing. (If you're part of the test, you should see a link on your My Disney Experience page - if you have one - that says "personalize Magicbands" and you'll also be able to make FP+ selections for certain days.)

In the future, there will likely be some sort of process for ordering Magicbands if you're staying off site, or if you're on site, they will be sent to you before your stay.

We are at the Poly in October and I see "Manage My MagicBands" under my account -- does this mean I'm included in the testing? I tested it last September while at AKL (hated it) but received a paper invite to a special site before everything was rolled out.

I'm currently on hold with IT. Apparently I am in the test group but beat them to the email invite ;p
Anyway, on hold as the CM tries to link my APs or put in KttW cards, or whatever he has to do to get us all to where we can use FP+. Fingers crossed.
Once our November stay is over and APs are expired, I am deleting all accounts associated with my family but the one linked to DVC!

Actually, I haven't checked the November reservation yet. This is for September.

Someone on Twitter reported that there would be some more testing in October, so I went around and did some research and have confirmed that the following resorts will be participating MyMagic+ testing through "mid-October". One person I talked to discussed it as the "initial rollout" and it seems that it will likely be extended. Here are the resorts: AKL (villas included), Contemporary (limited BLT reservations as well), Pop Century, POR, AoA, YC, BC (haven't heard anything on the villas yet), and Polynesian. At some point in this test, the "initial rollout" will begin from what I gather.

Ahhh ok I am nov 8. -18 and watching daily . We are actually hoping for a roll out. Making fast pass for parades and fireworks would be awesome for our adult Disney trip

I spoke to an imagineer this weekend who is working on the FP+ about the rationale behind it and my one take away was, for me and my fellow park commandos this is a terrible change.

But apparently, we are the anomaly according to Dis research.

There is a FP+ section under my plans.

Thanks... is this only viewable if you'r eligible for FP+? I clicked My Plans on the app and all it says is "Add Plans'. I click that and it gives me the option to make dining reservations and "add extras to your plan" which includes parade times, etc.

Has anyone had any experience where they could not book Fastpass+ because they saw "Needs Valid Park Admission to make Fastpass+ selections"? And if you then purchased or linked park admission to your Disney hotel stay, were you then able to book Fastpass+?

Here now doing testing. Once you buy tickets they will link them to the bands and then you can make fp + selections.

Hi gillenkl, thanks for the info. I have a split stay, first POR staring Aug 23 then Contemporary starting Aug 25. My POR dates show "Not eligible for Fastpass+", but my Contemporary dates show "Need Valid Admission Pass to Book Fastpass+", so it seems that POR is not currently participating in Fastpass+ (at least for me). I had thought of canceling the Contemporary reservation and just extending at POR to avoid the move between resorts and to save $$, but if a Contemporary stay is the only way I can get Fastpass+, I will keep the Contemporary reservation.
