Even the "tap to enter" hotel rooms cards are easier than a normal room key swipe. (Dont have to orient the key in the correct direction).

I didn't realize how nice my Disney door lock was until I left and spent a view nights on a beach with a normal hotel lock.

Sure its not a "make or break" vacation feature, but it is a nice bonus

This would be great. I just made my FP+ reservations and ordered the Magic Bands and have been wondering if we could also still get regular fastpasses on top of that. Not that I normally would have more than 3 fastpasses per day anyway, but I was thinking what if we wanted to be a little more spontaneous, if we would still be able to get regular ones. I hope someone can confirm this.

You do know you can change that FP to whatever ride and time you want right? You aren't stuck with what you are given.

Not always. I have one MK day that I cannot get rid of my Pirates FP+, every time I try to switch the attraction it says that no other options are available. It has only happened with that one on that specific day though.

there might not be anything else available.with that exact time.slot. Try to.change the time then try again.

It was available today. It's earlier than the 17 day mark but when I logged in MDE today I was able to both customize and order the Magic Bands and book the FP+.

Okay. This might be a silly question or it may have been asked before. But after reading some sites today apparently there is a rumor going around that rollout is starting in September. Has anyone else heard that? I know it's a rumor and I know no one for sure knows until Disney says it but I thought I would ask if anyone else heard this.

All just rumors ... But you gotta think after this big of a test they are pretty close to some kind of roll out.. That and the fact it seems the Disney higher ups what it out ASAP..

I'm going end of oct and I am expecting to see sone kind of roll out.. IMHO

Right. They seem to want it out yesterday. Problems and all. We are going in Dec and staying at BLT. With the accessories already out for purchase I am guessing its sooner rather then later but I am no expert just a mom trying to plan a trip.

We will be testing very soon. I know I read you can double dip but can you pull regular FP right away at any time or do you have to use up all your FP+ first.

For example, I have Enchanted Tales scheduled from 10-11am, in the meantime can I go pull a regular FP for Dumbo or Peter pan or do I have to wait until I use up all 4 of my FP+

If you can log into the DMX account and have an option to customize MagicBands, then you'll be able to make FP+ suggestions.

It remains to be seen whether anyone who did not receive the official email/letter can actually redeem their FP+...

Would love to hear from anybody there in this position now. I am 15 days away from check-in, and I STILL do not have an invitation, but my MagicBands are packed and ready to go, and the FP+ selections are showing up in MDE.

I am staying at POP, so I should be good to go, right?

I will be VERY UNHAPPY if I get there and they say "no dice".

Currently no. It is 3 per day and that's it. MK is also giving a 4th but I've only seen that pop up when I book a parade or fireworks spot not when I book 3 rides.

I have 4 rides booked on our 1st MK day: Splash, BTMRR, Little Mermaid, and PP/Haunted Mansion (our party is splitting up for that one).

Here now at dolphin for first part of trip my magic bands go active tomorrow. Lots of people with Grey bands. Ran into someone with one on star tours with Grey band in stand by line. Said he had no idea the band could make fp ressies. Just thought they were for passes and room key. Obviously he was handed one at check in not in the know.
Toy story passes were gone by 12pm. Not sure if that I'd earlier than normal or not.

Well, if word is going around that you can get 2 or 3 sets of FPs I would be shocked if TSMM fps stayed around very long this month.

That is a surprise. The BLT test participants last week reported lots of customer training and support. They had access to training sessions and QA times.

Is any of this going on at YC, Pop, or the other test resorts?
