It appears that everyone staying at a test resort, including YC, during August is invited, although if you call IT they tell you you are only invited if you receive the email.

:rotfl2: it is all very mysterious for us playing at home!

We are planning on a few trips. April 2014, June 2014, winter 2015 and again April 2015. All within 365 days. Usually I'll get our PAP a month before the trip or to put under the Christmas Tree. Ours expired June 2012. (I love, love, love, Tables in Wonderland.:goodvibes)

Now what? I don't want to be limited to a certain amount of FP's/year.

How are people with vouchers going link with their room reservations and sign up for FP+ We stay either at CL BC or Dolphin.

If I do a package I would probably cut out two out of four trips and go somewhere else or a cruise. Those PAP's make a good excuse to go keep coming back and Tables in Wonderland keeps us on property.

I wonder if eventually you'll see two levels of PAP's. Unlimited FP+ and a regular PAP. Who thought park hopping would be an "extra". 15 years ago.

There was only a rumor about a limit, and it was per quarter. There has been nothing official said by Disney. AP holders participating in the test do not appear to be limited in any way at the moment.

Having a room reservation is not required to use FP+ - when it is fully rolled out. You just need a registered ticket. How vouchers will be able to be registered appears to be an issue at the moment. Some have had success, some have not. Disney still needs to fix a few things. I expect they will be addresses long before your first trip.

Don't make decisions on unfounded rumors and complete unknowns. Wait to see how it is functioning when it is FULLY functional.

I doubt they will tier annual passes further.

Yes, park hopping became an option - but they also reduced the price of the base tickets when it did.

If you get a MagicBand... can the same band be used for other WDW trips or will you have to get a new one every time? If they are reusable...if you have 4 park hoppers and only want to use 2 per vacation ...can you still add them all to the band at the same time? :confused3

They are intended to be reusable.

I'm not sure about your other question, as I can't think of why you'd want to use two separate park hoppers on single vacation....but it appears that you will be able to have multiple tickets linked, but designate an "active" ticket.

Thanks Doconeill for your reply.

We have the Armed Forces Salute tickets and usually stay for 2 days at a time a few times a year.

Ah...not sure how any of the military tickets will be handled just yet...

Yes, but it is interesting that they have the 2yo a KTTW card. They've never done that before.

I thought that was interesting too doconeill. Last Sept DD was 19mo and didn't get a KTTW card. We didn't have a problem on rides where we used fp-. I just assumed since she didn't need a ticket to get into the park, they wouldn't require a fp for her and they didn't.

I'm curious what will happen this year. We are almost to our 45 day mark so we haven't received our KTTW yet. She will be 2 and still gets in for free so she won't need a ticket (or KTTW) but I did see on another thread someone said they created magic bands for the entire family. When the bands arrived they did send one for the 2yo. He didn't say if they had sent the 2yo a KTTW.

That's precisely it - in the past, if you didn't need a ticket, you didn't need a Fastpass, as long as you were accompanied by an adult that did. I don't know if that is changing to a degree with the new system. No ticket is required, but perhaps a Fastpass is.

Looks that way. This post mentions how they were emailed a "bonus" fp+ for an ADR at BOG. I would love to get one of those!

Now that you mention it, last night they scanned everyone's bands including very small children (definitely under 3) for the parade location. I guess they become part of your party and need a reservation too.

There is a thread that I am currently following in which the family is currently testing magic bands and they were given one for their 18mo old. Tbh, I will have to go back and read if they have had to use it for entrances into the park as well as their recent FP+ viewing of Wishes.. I'm following so many, I cant remember! ha!

I shuffled some of my FastPass+ selections today, and on one of my MK days, I no longer got the PoTC as the bonus pass, I got Haunted Mansion, which I am excited about. :)

I'm sorry. I'm sure this has been asked before but I can't find in.

How far in advance can you get FP+? 180 days?

Thanks!

Just want to let everyone know I linked my old tic and the site said I had 7 days left. I didn't think so but couldn't remember. Decided to make sure before going to parks. Even though site says 7 days remaining the passes only have 2 days on them. It will let you make fp+ for 7 days but you won't be able to get into parks.

I apologize for asking this if it's already been addressed as I have not read all 68 pages so it may have already been answered.

We're planning on visiting WDW Thanksgiving week. A group of 16 of us will likely all be purchasing annual passes.

If we buy the AP's next month can we link them to our mydisney info before we activate the passes? If FP+ is in use by then it would be worth it to us to buy early but I can't find out if we can link vouchers to mydisney or if we have to activate the pass first. Trying to save myself a call to Disney.

Thanks!

You do know you can change that FP to whatever ride and time you want right? You aren't stuck with what you are given.
