I am slowly but surely getting our trip report recorded if for no one else but for me to relive our wonderful time at WDW.
For a refresher:
This is our first ever family trip to the World. Our trip dates were Nov. 28-Dec. 5. We stayed at the FW cabins. My parents also went and stayed at the CSR. My sister and her husband and 3 kids and her in-laws stayed off-site in a condo. My family:
Me: 36
DH: 40
DD: 14
DD: 11
DS: 9
DD 3 1/2
Day 3, Wednesday, Nov. 30th
Morning: MGM Evening: MK
Morning:
Once again, we made it for park opening. We headed straight to RNR coaster and then to Tower of Terror. We just love these two rides. We grabbed some FP for RNR for later. The park seemed crowded but we had no waits over 10 min. I think it seems more crowded because it is a smaller, more condensed park. Next we headed over to Playhouse Disney for the 3 ½ yr. old. We met up with her cousins(4 and 5 yr. olds) and enjoyed this show. My nieces got up and danced with the characters but my DD was a little shy and preferred to sit in my lap. Next it was Voyage of the Little Mermaid. I enjoyed this show but it was a little much for my 3 ½ yr. old. They really
Overdid Ursula, in my opinion, but DD made it through alright. Next on all of our agenda was Indie stunt show. We all enjoyed this one. Next the girls/guys split up and the women headed quickly to make the next Beauty and Beast show. I really LOVED this show. My mom did also. This and the Lion King were my favorite shows. The guys rode Star Tours again and headed back to watch Lights, Motors, Action. As soon as BB was over we made a beeline for some fries and cokes and then made our way to the back and were a tad bit late but watched most of this show also. Pretty cool. Now it was time for our daily break for lunch and rest. The only ride I didnt get to experience on my list was The Great Movie Ride.
My parents rode it Monday and said I didnt miss much and that it was just O.K. I still wanted to have the experience. But it leaves me something to look forward to next trip.
Evening:
We made it to MK around 5:30pm. We drove to the parks most evenings because we didnt want to wait for the internal buses to pick us up at the FW cabins. We headed straight to find a front row spot for the Spectro parade. We found one in front of the Hall of Presidents. We thought Spectro was pretty awesome. The colors are so beautiful. After it was over we boogied over to the Tomorrowland bridge for the Wishes fireworks show. I wanted to be down on the path in the Rose garden but my other family members found the benches on the bridge and were give out and so they sat down while we stood on the bridge and enjoyed the show. Tinkerbell flying is so cool!
We saw the line for wristbands forming in the gazebo and so we decided to stay longer for the evening extra magic hours.
Me and the 3 older kids rode Haunted Mansion and then we went to ride Magic carpet ride for the little one. Next we headed back to Tommorowland and rode Space Mountain and Buzz Lightyear once before calling it a night. There was a 5 min. wait on Magic Carpets and a 10 min. posted wait for SM. Buzz was practically a walk-on this evening. We made it to the cabin and everyone went quickly to sleep. We would be heading to Epcot in the morning to experience some rides in Future World. I couldnt wait to experience Soarin!
