This is just to vent. 50 minutes on the phone with member services trying to get everything set up so I can sign up for my whopping 3 fastpasses per day (and can only choose one of Soarin or Test Track). And the system went down and they recommend trying back in a few hours or tomorrow. Pixie dust all around. This is a vacation, right? So why is this more frustrating than getting my last mortgage?
 
I'm with you on this. While we've had trips using the new system that went smoothly, we've also had trips (been there a few times since testing phase) where the waste of time (between on the phone with MS and working out glitches with magic bands at the resort) has been enormus and ridiculous. Vacation time is like gold....very precious. Wasting it is NOT an option to us.

Thanks for the encouragement. Another 35 minutes with MS and everything appears to be linked up.

Here is an unusual glitch that held me up. Two of my children were being reported as friends rather than family, so their tickets were not appearing in my account (although they were visible to MS). The way to switch somebody from a friend to family is to indicate that they travel frequently with you. 15 minutes on hold for them to figure that out, so maybe it will save you some time if that happens.
 
I chickened out I gave it to my wife to figure it out.
