Hello all,

First all, glad to say I'll be going on our 3rd WDW trip this October. This time, I'm bringing my dad with us.
Problem is the following. On my confirmation (WestJet *Canada), We booked two rooms @ POP. One will be my Wife, my Daughter and myself.
Other room will be my father. On paper, everything is ok. Confirmations show the two bookings all under the same confirmation #.
When I go online MyDisneyExperience, the confirmation shows my family of 2 adults (Wife and I) and daughter, and 1 room.
Why is it not showing the Other room and the other Adult. Should be showing 3 Adults / 1 Child, instead it shows 2 Adults / 1 Child.
I'd like to start booking some restaurants but I can't until I can book the 3 adults / 1 child.
Any help / input would be appreciated.
Thanks

You can go right ahead and book your meals no sweat! You don't even have to be staying on-site to make ADR's. They only need to be linked to the "master" account. The person who is in "charge" of the reservation if that makes sense??

So go ahead & happy planning! :thumbsup2

I understand that it is the case for Restaurants, but when the time comes to book FP+, I can't add him and create his new MB.
I guess I'll have to call. I was just wondering if this was normal not able to "see" the 2nd room in the reservation.
:)
Thanks for the quick reply

Contact the people you made the reservation through and see if there was 2 reservation numbers for the rooms since you did book two, or you could call disney directly. Currently I have 5 overlapping rooms on my DME accont as I have booked for myself at 3 resorts, my brother and my mother at a separate resort. Good Luck!

We had the same issue. You have to send a friend request to the second room. Then, you have to log into the second room account (I used a totally different email account for out second room) and accept the friend request to link the reservations together. I can't remember if "friend" is the correct wording but it's something like that. Once you link the two rooms you will be able to see everyone in your party and book dining for all. I had to call Disney to get that figured out.

You need to link the 2nd room separately to your MDE account. You may need to call and get the 2nd confirmation # if you booked with a company outside of Disney. Either way you can still book ADRs and FP+, as long as your dad has a ticket in MDE. You need to make sure that he is listed under your MDE account, he does not need his own account unless he wants to. If he already has his own account, you need to allow each other to plan and share in the family and friends section.

I wonder of this means the person in the 2nd room has to have MDE. We are booked in 3 rooms for Nov. Myself in 1 room and my sister and brother in law in the 2nd room and our parents in a 3rd and they arrive 2 days before us. We are all separate bookings. We had to link eachother on MDE as "family and friends" by sending an invite and accepting it, so that we will see all of our bookings on all of our MDE accounts. Doing this, I am able to see their package details and was able to select them when making dining ADR's (it tells you to select those in your party) not sure if that is optional though. And when our 60 day mark comes, I will be able to select our FP's for all of us. This may be the case.. Your second room will have to set up an account on MDE. Once you invite and accept in the family and friends section then you should be able to see everything and will be able to do FP's for all of you at once.

When you book more than 1 room, each room is its own package and will have their own separate confirmation number. I know we all have our own confirmation numbers. Two of our rooms are arriving and leaving together, just booked it together but it is still considered separate packages.

They don't have to have their own MDE, listing them on yours is fine as long as they don't already have an account for MDE. If they do, then the 2 accounts need to be linked together. Not linking the 2nd reservation # is likely the problem in this case.

Ahhh.. ok I wasn't sure! Thats good to know! Then all they need is the confirmation for the 2nd room and they have to input it into "link a resort reservation". :thumbsup2
