My receipient has recd her candles, but Oddball's has not. We ordered hers from YC last Wednesday night. Almost a week ago. It was supposed to be shipped directly to her recipient. I hope they receive it soon!

I haven't even missed not getting mine yet because I am worried about Oddball's person getting theirs. Maybe tomorrow the mail carriers of America will bring surprises!!!!!!!

After waiting since Monday to get to my apartment complex office when they were open, I finally got my YCE today!

Phins_Jazy sent me my favorite fall scents - a jar of harvest and an adorable apple basket votive holder and a macIntosh sampler. It matches my new dishes exactly

And.. for my poor car that smells like beagle in the worst way, a clean cotton car jar!

I am so happy your package arrived safely!!! Gosh, it got there fast too!! I mailed the package here in NJ about lunchtime on Monday and it got to Washington in 2 days. The Postal Service did a good job this time.

I'm glad you were happy with your "goodies." These YC exchanges are so much fun!! They give us the opportunity to "meet" new DIS friends and get wonderful candles at the same time. I'm looking forward to the next one.

I received my YCE today. Thankyou Jennyfyar for the great candles. I can't wait to burn the new scent cucumber & cantaloupe. I haven't tried that before but it smells good. I also received 3 votives (pineapple paradise,hazelnut coffee, bay breeze), and a car jar clean cotton. Thanks again!

First of all - I would like to say what an HONOR it was to have received my YCE from the Grand Poobah, himself - SHEP!

Shep - Thanks SO much!!

But, I'm not sure if I place more value on the contents, or the precious artwork on the outside of the box!! I might need to save this for when your daughter becomes a famous artist!!

Back to the subject at hand...
I got a Sunflower Housewarmer; lilac, hydrangea, & tulips votives; a couple peppermint tealights; a Jack Frost car jar; and a Eucalyptus tart!!

Not to mention another frameable piece of artwork from Shep's daughter!!

Thanks very much Shep - both for the great package, but also for organizing this whole thing. It's so great - because it gives us all a chance to try candles we may not have chosen for ourselves! Now I have many more favorites. (Not sure DH is <i>quite</i> as appreciative, though... )

To my recipient - I made the mistake of having YC mail my candles to me - I definitely should have had them sent directly to you. I got them in the mail today, and they're heading North (which is very little to go on, as just about everyone is North of me!) And, by the way, I neglected to include my DIS name - so if you receive a pkg from "Beth in Florida" - it's me!
