I was wanting to actually post the pics but couldn't (I need to find a new hosting site) so here is the link to the album. I put the pics in order from half done to done (done ones are close to the almost done ones). I didn't think of taking pics before I started digging but imagine, all the way around where you now see the edging in the pics was grass. All the way around about half the grass had already been taken out (around the deck we did 2 years ago but never finished it - was just dirt and a few plants) but I had to even out all the way around and take out alot of grass (yard bags came to a total of about 65 bags for the garbage men). So these pics are before mulch. As you go around you can sort of see the plants I have. Backyard fam 1 is where I have some annuals right now and I just planted some Coral Bells (by each window well), hostas and peonies on the rounded corners in the backyard, backyard west after mulch 1 in the far right is the Purple Coneflowers that I'm waiting for blooms and next to them I just planted Morning Glories and some assorted wildflowers that are on their way up. To the right of the steps of the patio there are lilies, mums (2), hosta, and a couple of leftover annuals that I just couldn't throw away and mixed in there is a perennial that I can't remember the name that I just planted. In side yard east after mulch 1 is some more lillies, a rose bush I just planted, my tulips and daffodils and 2 mums and then going up the side of the house are hostas, tulips, lillies, sedum, and near my gas meter I just planted coral bells there also. On the rounded corner as you go around to the front of the house is a lilac bush that, ironically we thought was dying and I was ready to pull out and then last year we had one bloom - this year we had about 20! In the front are some plants that I don't know what they are and then the big ones are the Spirea. Then in the very front in the "corner" like section near the sidewalk was all grass that I dug up and that is where I have more tulips, daffodils, a bleeding heart bush I planted this year and then annuals that go all the way down the sidewalk and end at the driveway.

You can click on each pic to get it larger if you'd like. I'm not much of a gardner but I really got into this this year.

If you have a hard time getting in, my email addy is cpeddle999@yahoo.com (you might have to enter that but I don't think so). I can't wait until all is in real bloom. I'll try to remember to take pics as things bloom.

Thanks for letting me share. Oh and the cat is Butter..he thought he'd pose for his picture!!! :)

Good morning December99! :D

I tried to get into your pic site, but I couldn't access it without the password.

I'm not much of a gardner but I really got into this this year.

Of course you're a gardener, one who's obviously done a lot of work planning and planting! Even if someone's just a gardener at heart, it counts!! :D :D

Dang...okay - I don't mind giving out that.

Beautiful!! What a lot of time and love you put into those beautiful beds! It shows. Thanks for sharing - Lisa

Wow December99, you did tons of work!! I think it looks great, and I also like your deck, nice and big! I was going to ask if the cat was "garden art".....:)

So many Buds have huge yards.......my nasty case of lot lust is starting to act up again!! ;) :D

Thank you for letting us tour your gardens!

Beautiful, Dec99 -- you've put in a lot of work and it shows!!

Very nice already looks beautiful. What is the baby tree?

They are suppose to be ash trees. We've had them in the ground for 3 years now and that's as big as they've gotten. I think we may have to chuck them eventually and replant trees. They aren't doing as good as had hoped. But since putting down the mulch, they have gotten wider - just not taller.
