we just moved into our new house 2 wks ago and have to change our license and address. Problem is we have our flights already with our old address.
Will SW and Airtran change it for free or should we just wait till after our vacation to do it.
In Delaware they tell you to change address within 30 days of move.

Anyone know if there is a penalty for not changing within 30 days?

OK, I could be wrong here, but I don't think your address is a factor with your flights / boarding passes. You just need to have a current picture ID with a current address. But there is no address printed on your boarding pass. You could call one of the airlines to double check though or look online at their FAQ. I'm sure this happens a lot so they can probably just take your new address over the phone & put it in their system.

The address does NOT print on the boarding pass. All that prints is the name. As long as your name is the same you don't have anything to worry about.

Now to get things in the mail from the airlines you have to change the address. However, SW has me living in Nashville and I have been in Atlanta for 6 years. Never had an issue spending money on SW!
