Day 7 7/26 - Monday

This was the only day that Mom & Dad went to the parks. They both wanted to see Epcot, so that's where we went. My niece really didn't want to go.

My Mom was so up & perky. She & Dad, to my surprice, went on Mission Space. Dad loved it, but it made mom kind of sick. They had a great time in Future World.

We had 2 PS's for the day. A 12:00 PS at Biergarten & a 3:30 at Teppanyaki. My sister wanted to go to both, but we opted to go to Teppanyaki.

It was WONDERFUL!! The kids had such a great time with the oragami & our chec was so talented & funny. We laughted the entire time. The only downside to the meal was that we were seated with 2 people who just didn't get it.

The sat lifeless the entire time. First, they told everyone that they were on their honeymoon, the they told us that it wasn't their honeymoon, but their "engagement honeymoon"

They really were bizarre......

Shortly after dinner, it started raining.....We kept going around World Showcase until Mom & Dad decided that it was just too rainy for their tastes.

My daughter & I headed to Furure World to ride Spaceship Earth one last time & then headed to MK for another E-Ride night. My sister went back to the hotel for a rest. They also had purchased E-Ride Night tickets & were going to call me to make plans to meet up later.

My DD & I monorailed it over to the TTC (in the front, yet again), then walked over to the Poly for a visit. After the Poly, we took the monorail to the MK & were totally shocked by the masses of people. It turned out that most of them were leaving because of the rain......Whew!

My daughter was a bit sad because this was our last night there. MK was closing at 11:00, so E-Ride night was until 2:00am. We went on Pirates twice, had a Dole Whip & waited for my sister to call.

We soon found out that they had cancelled the parade because of the weather, which meant that even more people left the MK. It almost seemed like E-Ride night, long before it started. Luckily, they didn't cancel Wishes and again, it was so good.

We had another dinner at Cosmic Ray's and headed over to Big Thunder Mountain. There was no wait at all, so we ran through the line & hopped on. I was a bit nervous, because it had been closed on our last E-Ride night & then all of the incidents that it's had at Disneyland. But nonetheless, it was as fun as always.

Once E-Ride Night started, we saw a very large number of people being turned away from the rides. It was great to see them enforcing the wristband policy.

We rode splash Mountain twice & on the 2nd time, we saw that the parade had started. It was wonderful to see all of the floats from that high up. The boneheads in the boat behind us were actually standing ip in the boat. They ended up getting yelled at by the CM that was "watching over" that area of the ride & it wasn't long until they used the Splash Mountain Loud Speaker to yell at others standing up. We got a chuckle out of that.

By this time, we still hadn't heard from my sister & they ended up staying at the Dolphin. I think she was upset that she couldn't get a refund on the tickets. Had I known that they weren't going to go, I would have given their E-Ride Night tickets to someone....anyone....so that someone else could have had the wonderful time that we did.....The park was practically empty.

My sister & neice ended up ordering Brother Bear on Pay-Per-View ($12 on my hotel bill) & going to bed.

Sometimes even WDW isn't big enough to run from family! I'm very happy that you & your DD didn't let your sister's attitude spoil your fun.

Just from your report I could sense the fun your DD had. You lucked out on that Illuminations Cruise.

I'm trying to talk DH into one but he doesn't want to. Thanks for writing a great trip report for us!
