My WISHES pictures!

Hey everyone! I thought that I would share a few of my WISHES pictures with you today. These were taken on Monday June 28th!

Some of them came out kinda blurry, but not too bad (if I don't say so myself!)

I think they came out great ! - looks like you had a perfect 'vantage point' !!! - how far back on Main St were you standing? We loved Wishes so much, we went back 3 times during out last trip - can't wait to see it again !

Stunning! I can't wait to see it for myself!!

What kind of camera were you using? And what settings? We were practicing on Canada Day with our digital and the fireworks came out beautifully on the camera so I'm crossing my fingers for Disney's night time entertainment!

Those are lovely! I always get pictures AFTER the fireworks have gone off, so I rely on memory now! Your pictures came out very nicely.

How beautiful! My youngest is 2 1/2 and doesn't like really loud noises but likes fireworks - guess I'll be covering her ears for this!

Thanks for sharing!! Seeing these is just the antidote for my "I can't wait to get to MK next Saturday!" blues! I have planned a special trip to MK on my birthday so I can sit and watch WISHES!

We were standing on Main Street on the right side of the street, kind of next to one of the popcorn vendors. We were probably 6-10 feet back from the bridge to Tomorrowland?!? (Very ruff quesstimate!) It was great and we saw everything, Although I did have a very rude and tall foreigner constantly moving in front of me just as I was going to take a picture! I did get a few with his ugly bald head in them, but luckily for me I had my digital and was able to erase it right away!!

xyymom - What kind of camera were you using? And what settings?

I have a Kodak DC3400 (I got it at a pawn shop for a great price!!!) that I have had for 3 or so years...I was playing with the settings the whole time to get just the right picture! I started out using just the normal setting (on this camera it is "P") and then move the little button around to some of the other ones (2.8, 3.0). I am really not an expert with the camera and don't really know what the settings actually do, but that's what my LCD screen is for...instant knowledge that my picture turned out!! LOL!!

Thanks everyone for the compliments on my photos! I was really happy with the way they came out and just wanted to share the magic with the DISers!

I did use my digital camera, but took the picture without a tripod...just good old holding the camera and firing away!
