This is what I was trying to say with the post. I am not associated with PSU in any way, shape, or form. I am a Georgia girl, through and through. I do believe that in times of adversity and tragedy, activities like football (a silly game or not is up to everyone to decide for themselves) can be a unifier. Yes, the events are horrific; those guilty deserve the ultimate punishment; the victims must be kept in our thoughts; justice must be served, but the STUDENTS, GRADUATES, and FACULTY/STAFF of Penn State who have (once again stressing this point) NOTHING TO DO WITH THESE HORRIFIC CRIMES, need a way to heal. If a "silly" football game can aid in that healing, then so be it. As for those moron students that "rioted," again, they do not represent the good that is at PSU. Unfortunately, the media and the general public tend to focus on all the negative and not the positive shown by PSU (last night's vigil).
Geesh....who would have thought this UGA DAWG would have EVER defended a PSU Lion!
