About two weeks ago, I had my first visit to Disney World. Being a truck driver, I'm able to have my home time whenever, and wherever I want, so last time I had it at WDW. I had spent a cumulative total of 6 days at DLR last year (4 days in October, and 2 in December). During that whole time, I didn't win anything, although I did come across what I thought was one of the people who give out the dreams, and not knowing that that's what she was, I was asking her about what her favorite place to eat was in the park because I wanted to have something cool for my last day there that visit. (No, I didn't win anything from that conversation....)

This year, I bought an AP for WDW and had my first visit two weeks ago. I was originally planning to go to MGM on the first day, AK on the second, and EPCOT on the third (wasn't planning to go to MK since I had been to the DLR one only a month prior). The thought on going to MGM on the first day was that I was expecting to get to WDW a few hours after the parks opened, and since I had gotten there earlier than planned, I decided to swap my schedule completly around.

It was a good thing I did!

Upon arriving at EPCOT right at 9am, I skipped Spaceship Earth and went straight to Mission Space. I rode the Green Team version, and enjoyed the ride.....although I was the only person in the capsule thing. After getting off the ride, I spotted one of the dream team CMs talking to a Mission Space CM. I had a thought that someone was going to win something. I proceded to the line for Mission Space Race and they got everyone in there. (Of course, just like when I play online, I was assigned the Life Support position.)...we had some time to practice, and just before they started the game, the dream team CM came out and announced that everyone playing the game at that point in time had won dream fastpasses.

On retrospect, I'm really amazed (in a good way) that this happened on the first day of my WDW visit, first thing in the morning, at a game I had played online and enjoyed alot. Had I have kept my original schedule, gotten in the long line to ride Spaceship Earth first, or even rode the Orange Team version of Mission Space, I doubt I would have been so lucky.

With several more planned visits to WDW over the next 6 months, I have a feeling that I might win something else again. Might have a better shot late March when I meet up with my parents, and other family members.
