Today was the 180 day mark for my trip in August. I woke up an hour early this morning so I could call up and make our dining reservations.

My wife called down and asked what I was doing and when I told her she said, and I quote, "You have completely lost your !@#$%^& mind!", end of quote.

Of course she knows darn well that I completely lost my !@#$%^& mind many, many years ago but she won't be questioning my sanity when she is sitting at her precious Cape May Cafe for breakfast and dinner each day of our 20th anniversary trip!!!

How's crazy now hmmmmmmm............

My husband gave up on me years ago. Now when I wake up early and call in for the ADR's he just smiles and shakes his head.:goodvibes

She also said, as I dropped her off at work today, "And please don't text or e-mail all the dining details all day today, because I know how you are when you get excited with this stuff!!"

LOL, she knows me so well!!!

I do all my ADR's using the online system now...works great...the improvements Disney has made are just wonderful...and it's alot quieter then calling on the phone. :-)

That is to funny, my whole family knows how excited I get and i keep texting and emailing anytime I make a change or get a ressie.

Exactly!!! More power to you!!

I am lucky, DH is right on track with me. Sometimes I think we compete to see who is the more crazy over WDW vacations. LOL :rotfl2:

I love it!:rotfl2:

OMG I wish my DH was as $#!@&* crazy as me. He loves going to Disney and wants to go every year but he has no interest in the planning of it and he too doesn't care to hear all about the plans I have made.

Now that I know that there are men out there as crazy about the planning stages as you, maybe I should trade mine in? :rotfl2:

My DH would never dare to make fun of me. He might lose his exclusive stay-at-home travel agent.:rotfl: He loves that I take care of all the details while he just pays for and shows up for the trip. Works for both of us!:thumbsup2

Haha! I was up with you Jakeybakey, doing the same thing this morning, while DH snoozed away! I got up an hour earlier to do the online reservations though. Which I learned does not work well with Firefox... after a half hour of ERROR 500, I switched to Internet Explorer and was able to book everything. I got all locations I wanted within a half hour of the times I hoped for! :woohoo: But now I am super tired here at work....:surfweb: but not too tired to email all of the ADR's to DH!

How funny! In our relationship I am the "crazy" one. I love making ADRs. My husband has no interest in it. He just nods while I go on & on and forward him reservation e-mails, etc.

I had the same trouble with the ERROR 500, plus it kept asking me to put in my reservation number and the first day of my trip, or my username and password. It did this over and over and over again. I finally gave up, after booking only one breakfast. It was sooooooo frustrating!!

Too funny!

I texted DH yesterday telling him there would be an "ADR change in the near future" after reading some really good reviews about Boma's breakfast. He had no idea what I was talking about. :)

BTW, did you get all the ADR's you wanted?

I did, every single blessed one of them!! I'm so relieved that we are all booked up!!

And HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!

Thank you, though when the CM on the phone congratulated me I told her not to jump the gun since she still has a few months before we hit the 20 years to finally catch on!!

My DH also doesn't want/need to hear all the plans for the 6 - 9 months prior to a WDW vacation...but during the last 2 weeks before we go, he suddenly is interested in where we'll be going/eating and when. Nuh-uh, buddy! I'm the planner, you left it all up to me...no last minute changes for you! ;)

I think when it's so far away, he just can't allow himself to get too involved - it almost doesn't seem real becuase it's so far in the future. He and DD are very happy and grateful that I love the planning almost as much as the trip itself - we always have a great time and many delicious meals!

Hopefully, I'll be booking our next WDW trip by the end of March...

Our trip is being planned for Oct. 2012, so I've got a long way to go until ADR time. But my husband seems to really be enjoying my planning frenzy already. I hope he can keep pace with me.

This is so funny :rotfl2: I'm the one in the family who has lost her @#$%!@ mind, so I know how you feel. Anytime we have a trip planned, I'll ask my family "can we have a disney discussion?" If I don't ask, no one wants to talk about it but me. Usually the boys so no, but my DH will atleast listen a little bit. What really helped my DH be *somewhat* interested is picking some of the restaurants. Once that's done, he doesn't care. He loves our trips and gives me lots of credit for the planning, but he says he's "along for the ride". Gotta love him :lmao: He gets up in the morning and says, "so which park are we going to today?" I've already had this part planned for a year!
