Woot!!!!

After 8 years of working very hard and keeping our home up to par and taking care of our kids, now that they're all in school, we decided it was time for her to get back into the work force. I'm very excited about it. We need the cash pretty bad, but it's really good for her to get out and enjoy adult conversations - lol

She had her interview today and it went very very well. Plus, she has a friend on the inside....we're pretty confident.

I'll let ya'll know how it goes!

Good luck to her on getting the job! It will be a change, but you're right, she'll probably enjoy the new challenge.

Congrats!

I am thinking of going back to work also;be home alone all day is kind of wearing on me.

And w kids back to school next week; I think getting out might be good!

Nice! Don't forget to divvy up the housework now that she's a working (outside the home) woman. Too many wives are still expected to do all the domestic stuff on top of their paying job.

Don't be that husband.;)

Yep, you get half the housework. I'll bet she'll be happy to give that up!

Good luck to her! :)

It can be very hard to find a job nowadays so good for her! I hope that she enjoys it.

I'm itching to apply for a job. I was all set to apply to Target--b/c it is something I could easily do on evenings/weekends....or so I thought. I forget about that new infant I had.:lmao: I got starry eyed for a paycheck with my name on it when we moved to an area that has many more job opportunities than where we came from.

Best of luck to your wife! What field is she pursuing?

And yes--do NOT forget to divvy up the housework.

OR, spring for a housekeeper to come in weekly or biweekly to do the nitty gritty and then all you guys have to do is worry about divvying up keeping things tidy.:thumbsup2:thumbsup2
