What a great photographer!! How did you ever pick any of them?!!? I'm afraid I'm going to be spending millions on my pictures! Did you get the cake in Disney? I'm not getting married in Disney, but that cake would be PERFECT for us since we got engaged at Cinderella's Castle. If you could drop me a PM about the cake that'd be great! They are beautiful. Having never been to a Disney wedding, I have a couple questions. Did your reception start after park closing or did Disney close down the American Adventure just for you? Also, I'm assuming the wedding itself was at the Grand Floridian wedding pavilion -- right? And how did you get everyone from the wedding to the reception?

I would love it if one of my boys had a Disney wedding!

tar heel, I'm happy to answer questions! My ceremony was indeed at the Wedding Pavilion located in between the GF and the Poly. We used chartered busses to transport our guests to the reception (this is required by Disney when you have an in-park reception since the busses actually take the guests into the park through the back cast entrance). Our pre-reception was an Illuminations party on the Italy Isola (the little island at the Italy pavilion), so that took place in between the ceremony and reception. Our actual reception in the American Adventure Rotunda did not begin until around 9:45 after Illuminations was over. I am not 100% positive about this, but I believe that Disney does close the American Adventure to guests a little bit early to allow time to set up for receptions. It was a requirement to have a late reception to use that venue.

Yep Christine, they sure were. We had a bunch of pictures taken the day after our wedding (the day you saw us) because we didn't have much time in between our ceremony and reception for pictures. It was great running into you and Beth!
