My waitlist chances?! Nov at BWV

So hubby let me pull the trigger on a fall trip with our kids, wahoooooo!!! But my beloved home resort, the Boardwalk, was booked. I booked us in at OKW and am thrilled since I have heard nothing but great stuff about it. But I did waitlist a standard studio at Boardwalk just because, home is home!!! So what do you think the odds are for it coming through? It's post-Jersey week but before Thanksgiving week. Either way, I am thrilled to be heading to my happy place!

How many nights is the wait list for? The problem you might run into is the Food and Wine Festival runs through mid-November, which makes it a very difficult time to get into BWV. But I'm sending lots of pixie dust your way! Good luck.

It's Nov 11-14. I really won't be upset if it doesn't come through, I am excited to stay at OKW. But was curious, I have never waitlisted before. Some people I know always seem to get their waitlist to come through and some never do!! Luck of the draw I guess!

I'd waitlist preferred, non-BW, view if you really want to be able to stay at the BW. Standard view is only about 20% of the total villas. Preferred, non-BW view, is about 60%. Better chance of it happening.

We've never had a waitlist come through for us. We waitlisted a BLT lake view two bedroom about six months out and a SSR two bedroom about four months out.

I don't think a SV studio will come through, but I hope it does for you! I agree that the preferred view is more likely.

It is also Veteran's Day weekend and the last one for F & W. With only 3 nights, you may not want to do a split stay, but I was able, over the course of a few weeks in June, to convert my 2 bedroom at BWV to a 1 bedroom by using a combination of wait lists and online booking.

I've have had great luck on all my previous wait lists coming through. But we've had our friends waitlisted at BLT for the last weekend in Oct since April. No luck so far! But you will have a great time at OKW if it doesn't come through!

I waitlisted at boardwalk for a garden/pool view studio for 2 nights, 10/31 and 11/1. The waitlist just came through today! Hopefully you will have the same luck.

Agree with previous posters. My trip for mid Sept, I had a wait list for BW and only the preferred - garden/pool view came through. The other two views are booked solid.
