Hi - Joe from Brisbane, Australia... 33 yo with girlfriend
I need some help with planning... This is my 3rd trip to Florida, but the first time since 1995, so I'm sure there's a whole bunch of new stuff to see.... Anyway, this was going to be my plan:
---
Day 1, 21 Oct - Day: Magic Kingdom, Night: ?
Day 2, 22 Oct - Day: Universal Studios, Night: ?
Day 3, 23 Oct - Day: which 3rd park?, Night: Halloween Horror at IOA... (already booked, and very excited...)
Day 4, 24 Oct - I have to leave...

So, for someone that hasn't been at Orlando for years and years, which park should I do on Day 3... I definitely want to see my old favourites, but should I change my order (I'm staying down near Maingate/Irlo Bronson)...
Your ideas please - you all sound like the experts (reading this board!)....... Cheers

You sure were right when you said"there's a whole bunch of new stuff to see" since 1995!!!! There's a whole new park Disney's Animal Kingdom has been added since then!Although it's a beautiful park it's not an all day park.

I'm thinking you're buying one day tickets and not Hoppers, right? It's around $50 for a one day ,one park ticket.Around $200 fora 4 day Park hopper pass which can be used at all 4 Disney parks on the same day.Un-used days are good FOREVER on these.

If you're buying a One day ticket on Day 3 my pick would be EPCOT! There's the new Mission Space ride and the Food and Wine Festival will be going on then.

Also EPCOT is the park that stays open the latest then so you're getting the most bang for you buck with a one day ticket!

In the evening you could visit Pleasure Island, the MarketPlace, the Boardwalk or play a round of miniture golf at Winter/Summerland or Fantasia Gardens.

Have a wonderful trip!:)

p.s. Do you know Steve Irwin? ;) My son LOVES him!!!:D

Hi Joe!

Welcome to the DIS!

I would change your day 2 plans, personally. My thought is why not do Universal all day on day 3, this way there is less shuffling around? This frees up day 2 and I think I'd do the AK. It's my favorite next to MK.

No matter what, have a wonderful trip!!!

Erin :D
