My wife had to mail some parcels so I told he to pick up another roll of 100........unfortunately, this was two days AFTER the rate hike.DAMN!!!!!!!....thank goodness forever is forever....bought these great set of animal photo stamps around the first of august for my young pen-pals and I asked the clerk about the raise and he said it may not be approved....as i was trying to rid myself of the stamps that need nelp to be sent...he had a huge pile of Navaho jewelry 2 cent stamps...so bought a few sheets.
in other news, speaking of cuts....post office has tiger stamps that you buy and the extra dollar helps with stopping the cut of tigers from the grasslands of india. tigers forever there seems like a good idea.
when I leave yuma and head to oregon....the only talent that I can offer is my writing.. I have no mechanical means of talent in yuma so cannot help folks who helped me by CUTTING themselves on the motor of the truck or making date bread. So my contribution is pulling weeds or digging up plants or CUTTING MYSELF on the gnarly cactus to recycle into our yard,,,the best yard for blocks in our hood. so as an expression of thanksgiving...i write of my escapades in oregon... Does not CUT into my time, instead gives purpose to sitting outside or pushing my brain as my memory is being lost one cut at a time of recall .though they are more essays thann personal letters. Folks love them in Yuma and wait in anticipation of the next letter. I have ten folks that i write to in yuma. fortunately, my stamp collection is what I found in the oregon goodwill outlet garbage store. I hve secrets to finding stamps admidst the clutter that can easyily give anyone a CUT....so my shipping cost is minimal, though this summer my 27 cent strange fruit/seeds CUT/SLICED in half for art purposes stamps needed some help.I buy a roll of 100 stamps at a shot. Last roll lasted 2 1/2 years.
