you would be suprised at how little most people know about computers still to this day, more than likely, the children know a heck of a lot more than the parents and the parents dont know any better to keep their kids safe on the net.

When you join VMK, you agree to the VMK values. Anyone who breaks them should be punished, whether or not their parents are aware of their actions. Personally, I thinked his friends deserved what they got. It will teach them a valuable lesson that they may have not recieved otherwise, even if the punishment is harsh. And I agree, some parents are entirely unaware of what their children are doing, and that's just plain bad parenting. If the parents can't teach their kids Internet-savvy knowledge, it's gonna be the VMK staff with a ten year ban to do it for them.

The person who gave out their phone number probably got a permanant ban for their own protection. It is sad but maybe it will teach them not to give out personal information like that.

You can't say "number" or "phone" so I'm not sure how they got around that I don't even want to know. I agree the making out and the number are worthy of bans, they teach little children on the game it's ok to do that.

It is very easy to do this. People dictionary dance with numbers all the time. You don't need to be able to say the actual number for people to understand what you are saying. I will not say how they say phone because I don't want to teach others ways to dance around the limited dictionary, but I have heard people (even a staff member) talk about the phone before and there was no doubt what they were saying. This is something that is worthy of a lifetime ban...it just isn't safe.

omg for that vmk staff are extremmely mean i am tired of vmk staffand how mean they are they band me for 2 hours just because i asked them to come to my room!!
My friend got band because a guest reported him for no reason. Only because he would not trade he got band for a month. I hate ir when vmk staff never is nice to us, they act like it then when people report they are ike the chernabog rug.

I agree! Don't they check the chat logs and make sure its a legit complaint? Someone reported my friend for nothing and she got banned for 1 week for harrassment, thankfully there are ways around it Seems like some staff are ban happy

ok, i just want to add that if you are in a room and you know that they are breaking the VMK Values (rules) then you also have a BIG chance at being banned. so i would watch out where you go and what you do. "Making Out" is not good and not keeping vmk safe at all. it is a disney game not a dating hotline. and secondly if they were in the same room when the "phone number" was given then that may be another reason they go banned. seriously most of the bans VMK Staff give are fair. because people think just because it does not say: "NO MAKING OUT" in the rules they think it is fine to do it! so this is a fair ban and it will not change and personally if they were banned for 10 years for that i would not want them back in vmk..

here's some thing to kick vmk staff in the xxx for i got banned forever ( is that for 10 years or forever? ) bc my friend was helpping me find this place and i got banned we were just talking in trade about it and then al the sudden i got banned FOREVER and it said u have been banned for giving out personal infermation i did the contact us but help tools poped up and that was it now ill never see my friends again
