My twins

I have 12 year old, fraternal twin boys. They are completely different, one blond, one reddish brown, 8 inch height difference, ect... Well we went to the dentist today, for cleanings and one needed a baby tooth pulled. They do the x-rays and wouldn't you know it, the other one needed the same tooth pulled.

It just cracks me up.

I think that they are beautiful and I don't really care what anyone else thinks.

I have fraternal boy-girl-girl triplets and have experienced the same thing with my girls! They are definitely fraternal, but cut the same teeth at the same time and lost the same teeth at the same time. My son is usually on his own time table, but he just lost a tooth and both of the girls have that same exact tooth loose right now. It is so strange how they develop! Its like a little naturally evolving science experiment! Lol

My twins are b/g, brown hair/blonde hair, but have always been exactly the same height, and within a couple pounds of each other, since they were measured on the first u/s. They are also my only 2 with asthma issues.

My other kids vary in size, some drastically (15% for weight vs. 95th % at same age).

My girls are the same way. They have always been within a pound of each other and exactly the same height--both firmly in the 25th percentile. Their triplet brother on the other hand, has always been a head taller than the girls and is in the 95th percentile. Their singleton brother is right on the 50th percentile line and has been since birth. Genetics is just fascinating, isn't it?
