Does anyone have one? Aren't they the cutest things!! When we were in Disney they had the My Disney Girl Dolls dressed as the Princesses and they were too cute. I'm thinking of making one of the My Twinn dolls as Belle just to go in the curio cabinets....and because I never grew up....LOL!

Its something how much you can make them look like whoever you want too...

go to www.mytwinn.com and you can pick the face shape, hair, hair color, eye color etc. I'm also thinking of getting my niece one for Christmas.

We bought one of these dolls for my niece when she turned 4. The are
very nice dolls, extremely well made. My niece never played with it very much - she'd rather play with the boys than with dolls. Her younger sister will receive one for her sixth birthday next April. She likes dolls, ruffles, and sequins. I wish someone would give one to me!

LOL! I know Linda, I think I may treat myself to one! I got the Disney Girl Doll and dressed her as Jasmine and brushed her hair...I swear I went back to being 10 years old and I liked it....LOL!!!

DD(8) got one when she was 4 and we both love her! They have had lots of matching gowns and clothes through the years. We even have the pretty basket they sell(or used to sell) to house all the accessories.
I prefer the smaller size of the American Girl doll she has though. AG doll will fit in the Disney Princess Gowns we have bought.
princess: And you are right, DD gets LOTS of things simply because I want them too!:p We just completed the McDonald's Madame Alexander Happy meal doll set yesterday! Yippee!:Pinkbounc I can't wait to play with what she is getting for Christmas!::yes::

Are those the dolls that are supposed to look like the little girl? If so, I'm sorry, but those things just creep me out!!!! Almost as bad as those time-out kids... My DB & SIL gave my Mom one of those life-size dolls last Christmas and it's in their living room.....Dad talks to her (he's a nut) and I can't stand to look at her. Too Twilight Zone - ish for me. :)

I just ordered one today for my daughter for Christmas. They look so nice.:D

I got one for my daughter 2 years ago. She didn't look as much like her as I wanted, but we sent her back in and they made the changes that we needed. Her hair was too long and too dark, they had missed some of the freckles that she needed, stuff like that. They made the changes free of charge, no problem. My problem with this company has been getting things that I ordered to actually arrive. For instance I have ordered matching outfits at least 3 times and only gotten the clothes for the doll or for my DD, not both. I have had to make returns several times because the other 1/2 of the outfit became unavailable. I have haad no success in getting matching outfits other than the ones I ordered when purchasing the doll. Therefore I have given up on ordering clothes from them. I have found out that most 6 month size baby clothes fit the doll perfectly and there are lots of places that I can find coordinating outfits like Gap, Gymboree and even Target. Also Healthtex and Oshkosh make a lot of things that fit both of them. I recommend doing this, it's cheaper and guaranteed to work.

Good luck!

p.s. I have had 100% satisfaction in dealing with American Girl. Their customer service is outstanding!

Just played around on the web-site to find a doll that looked like ME!

Actually I love my American Girl doll, who I got to represent my "inner child". Right now she has a better wardrobe than I do!Both my sisters have one also (big sis in Chicago turned us on to them). The 'cousins' have even all visted together over Chirstmas and I have photos of them sleeping under the tree on Christmas eve and in the holiday dresses the next day......you think that's WACKO.....they all got horses for Chirstmas!

If the My Twinn had been 18 inches I would have been sooooo tempted::yes::

LOL! Well its good to know I'm not the only little girl still out there. I may have to have one......I may have to have an American Girl doll too...LOL!

I ordered one yesterday for dd for Christmas. I was so glad they had the website ability to make the doll and see it, because the face shape we thought we'd need was wrong.

Great tip on the 6 month size clothes. I read it a day too late...ordered a set of matching clothes as part of the present yesterday. Because face it....without a matching ourfit, these things aren't going to look exactly like our kids....except maybe that red head on the inner cover of the catalogue...the one with the braids and the hand painted face. That was just about perfect!
