Horray - I have finally hit 1 day to go!! and can say I go to Disney tomorrow!
I also had a lovely suprise at work today (as my last day). I joined my company a year ago as a Marketing Manager on a Maternity contract for 6-12months.
About 4 weeks ago it was confirmed that despite the lady I was covering coming back they wanted to keep me on full time and give me a pay rise, I was obviously delighted (especially in the current climate).
So...back to today, my boss called me in to his office to wish me a fantastic holiday and to thank me for my work for the past year and how pleased they are than I am staying on. He then said as a token of their appreciation he will pay for our family dinner at the Hollywood Brown Derby!!
I can't believe it - I thought the magic was just in Disney - obviously some of the fairies have escaped and visited my boss!!
Thought the dis boards peeps would appreciate this story
