Ok at about 6:15 Sunday morning my family and I boarded a plane to travel to Walt Disney World. After a smooth plane ride we arrived in Orlando International Airport. Mickey's Magical Express was standing there to pick us up and take us to our resort. My family stayed at Saratoga Springs. It is themed like Old Fashion New York horse racing. The hotel had both goods and bads. It was really good because it was very expensive and elegant looking but it didn't have the same Mickey Mouse feeling that the other hotels have. If is very quiet and relaxed as opposed to the hustle and bustle of the Boardwalk. It was also really cool because it had beautiful scenery.

At the hotel we ate lunch in Artists Pallet, which was a semi fast food restraunt at our hotel. We went to the pool and laid out in the sun. In a couple of minutes of being at the pool it began to thunder and lightning so we went up to the room. Then we headed over to Fort Wilderness to eat dinner. After that we went to the magic kingdom because they were having extra magic hours. This means the park would stay open until 2 in the morning for guests staying at WDW. We went on a lot of calm and fun rides like the carousel, Snow White, and more rides that find themselves at home in Fantasy Land. That was fun and then we walked over to Toon Town to watch the Wishes firework display. We headed over to Main Street USA and watched Spectral Magic. It is a light parade incase you have not seen it. Then it was time for bed. ZZZzzz

Monday was the day we had planned to participate in the Key to the Kingdom tour. As scheduled we arrived for it at 8:15 in the morning. The tour didn't actually start until 9 but it was cool to go into the park earlier than all the other people. We even stood on Main Street and watched them charge in 45 minutes later. We met our tour guide. Her name was Rae! She was the best tour guide I have ever met. We really lucked out. She has worked for Disney for a very long time and was very knowledgeable. She also provided the tour with a lot of energy because she was so passionate. My mom liked that she talked like a teacher and was humorous while doing it. Once again I can't begin to write how lucky we were because one of the groups on the same tour ran into us and he was not very enthusiastic and my family even agreed that he didn't want to be there and was probably forced. Now about the tour… The tour takes you behind the scenes of everything that goes on at the Magic Kingdom. It is top secret so I was not allowed to take pictures. It began by looking at the windows on Main Street and hearing the stories of the people that were responsible for the establishment of the park. Incase you didn't pay attention during my computer apps. Power point, Walt Disney died before the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World opened. She also told us a lot about the way Main Street is built. Umm we rode a lot of the rides and she told where the hidden Mickey's are and the stories and secrets behind the ride. Then we went behind Splash Mountain and saw the parade float storage and what the park looks like without the magical look. Please remove all little people before reading the next part. The amazing tour guide we had was once the man. Mickey Mouse! She had pictures of herself in costume and the changing room inside Cinderella’s castle. She also worked in a few shows there and guess which character she was.... Fairy God Mother. She told us all about what it is like to be a character at Disney and if you want the juicy details just as me. Small Children may read again. The part that she called desert was going into Disney's underground tunnel. Incase you haven't heard about this, Walt Disney had a tunnel built under the magic kingdom so the workers would not be walking around in the mass of guests looking indecent when they were off duty. That was cool because she taught us about the history of the Disney Company and what it is like to work there. Right down to the requirements to work there. I can tell you those if you are interested so just ask me. The tunnel comes out behind Main Street. That part was sad because you realized how unreal the street really is from the back. When we concluded the tour we decided to go and get my hair cut on Main Street. 4 inches *****es! It was really fun. Most kids that go to Disney a lot get there first hair cut in this barber shop but I never did so I did it now. They usually put color in your hair if you sit still while they cut it but my hair was too blonde and they said it would permanently stain so they only put pixie dust. Some how, permanently pink hair wasn't working for me.

The rest of the day was spent at the pool and that night we went to Animal Kingdom because it is there turn for the extra magic hour. We wanted to go on the safari as soon as we got there. The line said 80 minutes and I don't even think we waited 20. This happened a lot. We shopped and rode a few more rides like Dinosaur and Expedition Everest.

On Tuesday, in the morning, we rented water mouse’s, which are little one person boats. This was amazing. You could drive your little water mouse up to the Magic Kingdom. I wish I had brought my camera but I was afraid it might end up with flounder and Sebation. Then we drove in our boats around the hotels and went back to the magic kingdom before returning them. Now that I have a driver’s license I was able to rent the faster boats unlike last time. For you reading pleasure I will stay away from that topic. That afternoon we visited Downtown Disney. That was fun to finally get some serious shopping done and not just look and say "oh cute". That night we went to Epcot and did a lot of rides. That was there night to stay open late and we had a great time! We opted to miss the firework show so we could get on even better rides.

On our last day at Disney we went to MGM. It was really fun going on Rock n Roll and Tower of Terror. Ok I didn't enjoy the man that put us on the Tower of Terror. He kept standing behind me glaring me down and if I would say something he would give me a smart answer back. We saw some shows like the Muppets and did some more shopping. Then we boarded the boat to Epcot and took a trip to have a private character photo. That was cool.

I also got a once in a lifetime opportunity like the man said to ride a Segway. I really didn't like it because you had to lean forward to move forward and the front would go down like you were going to faceplant!

Finally we headed back to the hotel where we got some drinks and I headed out to the pool. My parents had had too much sun so they slept in the hotel lobby. Then we took a late night flight home and wala!

what incredible photos you got of the animals. Thanks so much for your report . Great vacation there for sure......

I've always wanted to take the behind the scenes tour but thought it might take away from the Magic - did you feel like it did at all?

Thanks for sharing your trip with us and great pics too!!

You sound a lot like my daugher. She would rather do all the late nights, and I am totally a morning person.

Glad you shared your TR with us.

Did you do the Segway tour, or found a place to go on the Segways?
