DAY 4..
We were up early today as it was our last day, I packed are cases and called baggage to collect them, we were told to leave them by the door and they would collect them.
we were down at breakfast by 8.00am and were greeted by Mickey, amazingly there was a queue for him as it was not in the photo location, so we got in line for yet another picture with Mickey. (the mice from Cinderella were at the photo location however did not want to meet them) Some people did try to push in however the cast member sent them right back to the end of the queue. When it was my dd turn she got lots of comments at how cute she and Mickey looked as she had on her Minnie dress with ears. We then went to breakfast and Chip or Dale where there and he pointed to my dd and ran over to say hello to her. The characters really seem to like her Minnie Outfit and she definitely got noticed by them more.
We had breakfast in Invention today and it looks like a lovely restaurant which I would like to try on our next visit.
After breakfast we went to the park, it was 9.00am and the rides were already open, we first went on Big Thunder Mountain which has now became dd favourite and then we on Phantom Manor, I was a little concerned that dd would be scared however we pretended to be Scooby doo on it and she was fine.
After Phantom Manor we headed to Fantasyland, it was still only 9.30 so we went on peter pan flight after a 5minute wait. After we came of we spotted Winnie The Pooh and DD decided she wanted to have her photo taken with him so we queued for about 20minutes.
Then DD asked to go in the Maze and I reluntcy agreed, I am not a big fan of this maze. She had great fun though running around and trying to beat us round so it was worth it.
We then went on the tea cups, again it was great fun and we managed to get the cup spinning quite fast.
By now it was 10.55am so we thought we wait for Casey Jr and storybooks to open. We did both of these in about 20minutes. The queue for Casey Jr had really started to build up when we came of it.
Storybooks was a nice pleasant ride that we had not done before.
My sister than decided she wanted to go on SM2 so of she went while I went to queue with DD to meet Sleeping beauty at the princess photo location which has moved since are last visit. The queue was very long at least over an hour so I managed to convince DD to leave the queue which was a good idea as sleeping beauty was then replaced by Belle who we already had a picture from last year.
We than sat down on the seats for some stage, not sure what its called to wait for my sister. DD played on them walking up and down. 50 minutes later my sister reappeared at 12.30 which was when we had reservations for Walts. We managed to make the reservation and had a lovely meal which again was excellent value.
We then left the park and headed for the studios and went on the flying carpet and watched antimasque.
We then left the studio and had a walk around the village and did a little shopping before going to sit in fantasia Bar where we had a drink. Afterwards we had about an hour to our bus so we sat outside on a bench and watched people coming in and out of the park.
It was then time to leave we went outside to wait for the bus and asked the bell boy to bring are luggage out. Had a little panic when it seemed like they could not find are luggage however we it soon turned up and we were on our way to the Airport.
Well the weather was very hot, the park was very busy, we once saw the queue for POTC from out side! Which is amazing when you consider the size of the queuing area for it. However we did not feel the need to go on every ride as we had been before so we were able to have a more relaxed trip. On some days it felt like we had hardly done anything at all. However we still had a good time as it was too hot to be rushing around trying to fit everything in. Also disappointing that they had changed the hotel fast pass and but more restrictions on it.
The Disneyland hotel was wonderful and the service was excellent, though it was disappointing not have the Disney Channel in English, as we do come back to are room during the day.
We loved the lobby and my sister loved the stairs and would always make us walk up them.
Also breakfast could take a bit long as there was a long queue to get the food, and if you wanted to go up and get more you had to queue up again. Though the food was very good.
The Character welcome was a bit non existent as well, at times they where not characters apart from the ones at the photo locations.
Though I did not use the pool my sister said that she prefer the HNY pool.
We loved the hotel and found staying there amazing so CC must be pretty special.
