Day 2
Well the next day… we were up at 7.30am and were down for breakfast at 8.30am where we found Minnie Mouse as she and DD are great friends DD had to go and have her picture taken with her, so another Minnie Picture added to our collection. (we have loads).
We then queued for breakfast, and the line moved quickly and we were seated in the California Grill, however not near a window. A cast Member came to fill our cups with hot chocolate and then we headed to fill our plates up. The breakfast consisted of the normal buffet stuff however with pancakes, waffles, eggs, bacon and more fresh fruit for example there was Grapefruit and Kiwis. DD loved the pancakes and had two with a yoghurt and half an apple. While I had Croissants, and waffles and My sister had 3 chocolate croissants (her fave)
After breakfast we headed to the park and dd decided she wanted to go on Buzz, we found that the ride was already open even though it was no 10.am yet and already there was a 15 minute wait.
The ride was very good, DD and My sister had the guns while I spun the buggy. The only negative thing was dd was a bit small to shoot the targets, as she could not see over the buggy. When we got of the ride and looked at the picture you could not even tell that she was on the ride. it’s a great addition to the park though!
After Buzz we went to queue for Dumbo, unfortunately the queue took longer than I thought it would and we waited an hour to go on it, but we thought at least its done now and we don’t have to queue for it again as it always seems to have long queues.
After Dumbo we headed to frontier land and tried to use are hotel fast pass to go on Big Thunder Mountain however it turns out that they have changed the hotel fast pass so that we could only use them between 2-6pm, something new to us. They also had dates on them which was also new.
We then decided to let dd play on the park at adventure land which she enjoyed and then she went to play on the Pocahontas village however as it was very hot she could not go down the slide as they were red hot. She then spent a few minutes under the mist showers which she loved and we had to keep coming back too for her.
We then went to queue for Tarzan which is a show we had never seen before, in the queue DD told us she needed to go to the toilet so we ran really fast to one. By the time we got back to the theatre the queue for Tarzan was massive and I was worried we would not get in.. However we all did, and we enjoyed the show.
After the show DD wanted to go in the mist showers again..so of we went. After she had a little walk in them we headed to The Mark Twain where other people were waiting to go on. We were then told it was closed for two days, which was a shame as we still have not got to ride this and I don’t know if it will be open in march next year.
It was now 2pm so we headed to BTM and DD was very happy that she was tall enough to ride. She loved the ride and had a big grin on her face afterwards. We then decided to had back to the hotel for a break. (this is where the DLH is so handy) My sister headed to the shop at the train station to get some snacks to see us though to dinner. We then relaxed before I took DD to go and watch the parade. My sister decided to stay behind and go for a swim.
We have never seen this parade before, we go a spot sitting down on the pavement and watched the Cast Member mess around with the crowd. There was one who kept taking people stuff and my DD gave me her Minnie ears and when I put them on they were taking by the Cast Member. DD then jumped up in a panic, when he gave them back she made me put them in my bag.
We both enjoyed the parade and managed to get some pictures.
We then went and had a look in some of the shops and I bought some glasses. We then headed back to the hotel and had a look in the shop there. DD wanted to buy a lion king cuddly toy, I tried to talk her out of it as I knew she would want something else when we go to the big shop in the village, plus she already has a simba, she insisted and said that this one is the girl lion, so she got her lion.
We then went to our room and got ready for dinner at Café Mickey. DD put on her Minnie dress. Are reservation was for 6.30pm and we were seated at 6.15pm. The restaurant was not busy at all while we were there which was till 8.30pm. I don’t know if this is because of the world cup semi finale.
Anyway we had great character interaction, and Minnie loved DD dress and made a big fuss over it so dd was very happy. Mickey also kept coming over to her, at one point we had three characters at our table at once. Geppetto (who dd ignored, bit of a character snob she is) Mr Smee who was doing her dot to dot puzzle on the menu and he got a bit frustrated as the pencil did not show up. Mickey Mouse was also at the table watching, (plus a girl who was following Mickey around with her autograph book and ended up not getting her autograph as Mickey just went to children sitting at tables)
Captain hook was also there and he took DD Minnie Ears of and threw them on the table, when we laughed he told us to be quite. When he left Mr Smee came and said sorry and gave DD a kiss and gesturing at us not to tell Hook.
We also saw Goofy and Pluto.
It was somebody’s birthday and the characters and CM were all dancing to music and got all the kids up to dance.
We had a fantastic meal and afterwards we went to the Disney Shop where we did some shopping. DD got Bambi and Thumper and my self and my sister got a note book and some pens.
So we then headed back to the hotel to find that the curtains had been drawn and the sheets turned over and chocolates left on the pillow.

So you have quite a few more cuddly toys and it's only Day 2! 
The characters loved her costume, You will get some great photos as well, we got a fab picture of her with Minnie.
