Day 1
We were up at 6.00am and left for Manchester airport at 6.45am and had checked in by 7.15am so every thing was going quickly. We had a sausage sandwich for breakfast and started to get concerned when DD refused to eat anything, (on our last trip she was sick all over the airport floor so now we are always on watch. After we had something to eat we went though security and my sister went for a look in the book shop while I went to star bucks to get us both a coffee. We then sat down to wait for our boarding gate to come on the screens, when it finally came up on the screen we found that we were already sat at the gate so a great start. We boarded the flight which went quickly, however we had a little panic when DD says “look there the sick bag for me” eek. In the middle of the flight she asked for it however was fine and soon was chatting away with her endless questions which when answered she followed up with a why? This happened a lot though out the trip. “ Alisha stand back from the track”
“why?”
Because we don’t want you to fall on to it”
“why?”
Anyway when we landed we rushed as fast as we could to get to the coach, and got to the front of the queue. There was a bus due in 10 minutes so great timeing we thought, well the bus eventuall arrived 45minutes later and it was already almost full , so about 5 families managed to fit on and some how even though we were at the front of the queue we were left standing waiting for the next bus with a lot of other frustrated people, which we were assured would arrive in ten minutes and would be empty. Twenty minutes later we were on the bus on our way to Disneyland Paris. We then had a long wait to get of as the bus went around all the Disney Hotels and then went to the Explorer’s and Holiday Inn. We arrived at the Disneyland Hotel at about 2.30pm. We were greeted of the bus by the bell boy who took our luggage into storage and we then went to the reception and got our park tickets and Hotel Fast passes, we were told our room would be available after 3.00pm. We had a look around the hotel lobby and we were all really impressed with it, my sister loved the stairs. We then went to the park which and it felt a bit strange as the entrance was right oppressed the door of the hotel.
We then walked down main street and took some picture and then we went to see the dragon which is something we had not seen before. DD did not like it and made us leave so only managed to get one photo of it.
We then went on it’s a small world which turned out to be the only ride we did that day as we were feeling very hot in the heat so decided to go back to the hotel, we got are room key and the receptionist arranged to have are luggage delivered to the room.. We were in the First wing so were close to the reception which was great as we were also near the park. The room was fantastic, we thought it was a lot bigger than the room at the HNY. We had dressing gowns and face clothes too which was once as I did not expected them. The view was not good, overlooking the Car Park and the back of train station which meant it could be a bit noisy at the RER train stopped right out side.
Then after we had showered we headed to the Village for something to eat.
As we headed out of the Hotel we noticed there was lots of charaters in the lobby so DD got her picture taken with Minnie, Mickey and Pluto. Pinnochio was also there however dd would not have her picture taken with him.
We headed to Annette’s Diner and noticed that the Cadillac had gone.
My sister like the interior and we ordered cheese burgers and cocktails while DD had fish and chips, and Jelly for desert. We thought the food was okay for the price however did not think it anything special. After eating we went back to the hotel to see what Fantasia Bar was like. We could not find it and we spotted a man standing on the balcony on the first looking down at the lobby. He was wearing a suite and had a Disney name badge so my sister went to ask him using her French. He then walked us all the way to the bar!
The bar was lovely, DD had a children’s cocktail which came in a buzz cocktail shaker for her to keep. It was it pricey at 6.50euros however she loved it. We found out the next night that the same drink cost 5.50 at the Hotel New York.
After our drinks we went to our room and my sister went for a swim while myself and DD found out we did not have Disney Channel in English so we asked reception why and they sent up a man fro mantence who just flicked though the channels and then said he does not know why. We had MTV France though.
When my Sister came back she said that the pool was nice however not as good as the HNY which I had warned her about before she went.
Went then had a small glass of wine from the mini bar which we did not like as to dry for us, before we went to sleep to get ready for the next day.

But you are not at Disney to watch TV, but now there is no German and English Disneychannel anymore! And I also missed the DLRP info channel! That is not a good improvment!
