I made one of these for our last trip, and I truly treasure it. I'm not a journal person, but I forced myself to write it every single day, and I'm soooooo glad that I did. As simple as it is, it's far better than any souvenir I bought.
The faded pictures print a lot nicer than they show on screen. Just bright enough to see the images, but light enough that I can write on it with no problem. The "name" pages are for me to write quotes or special anecdotes for each of the kids (i.e. from last trip, DS8 to DD4 after she tried to tell him what to do for the 100th time that day "Just because everyone calls you a princess doesn't mean you really are one."

Last time I had more headings/sections, like "What we ate today" and "What characters we met". I left them out this time because I wanted more flexibility to write more/less depending on events. I also left off the dates this time since there is a chance we will shift our trip by a day. But, overall I'm happy with how it looks. What do YOU think?
