My trip is off

I called and canceled our July trip.

DS and I are going to visit my Grandmother in South Carolina instead. It's been almost 2 years since I've seen her. She's very sick right now and I think it's important that we go visit.

My son loves going to SC, but I'm sure he's going to be a little upset about not going to Disney.

I'm not to sad about not going. I'm planning a surprise birthday trip for DS's 12th birthday. We may also be going with my sister's family for Christmas. It will be their first trip.

So all of you that are going to be there during the 4th of July, please write trip reports when you return.


Oh well, time to start planning for the October trip. I wonder when they'll post the October park hours??

We've planned and cancelled our trip SOOOO many times. I know how you feel. But to be honest, I think the planning is fun too.

And you....You have a wonderful time in Disney for your upcoming trip in October!! And hopefully you will get to go again for Christmas! Now you have more time to have fun planning for your trips!! Enjoy!

Sorry that you had to cancel, but have you thought that SC isn't that far a drive to WDW? Maybe you could sneak away for a few days?

As a life long resident of SC let me say we hope your stay with us will be enjoyable and you will find your Grandmother in good health when you arrive.
There are some great day trips from just about any place in the state. Hope all goes well.
