Hi everyone, I'll be visiting WDW from Aug.27-Sept.3. I was wondering what type of weather and temperatures to expect and also crowd levels.
My last visit was last year in Nov and it was a great week in every aspect, weather, temperatures, minimal crowds. How would it compare? I'm just curious.
Thanks

It will be hot and there is usually a thunderstorm in the afternoon. However, the crowds will not be that bad as many kids are back to school. I went last August and am going again next month. With the heat, just pace yourself. Go back to your hotel in the afternoon for a swim or have lunch and get out of the heat. Drink lots of water and enjoy!!

How long do the thunderstorms typically last? And would we get on a good number of rides at the parks, referring to the crowd level.
Thanks

I felt the crowds were manageable. By using fastpass you should have no problem. We got to ride just about all that we wanted.

The rain can be a problem as it does pour for a short while. Mostly it is a quick downpour. Just keep an eye to the sky - you can tell when they are coming. We only got caught one day in a bad one lasted about a half hour and then it cleared up. You might want to eat lunch in the middle of the afternoon. You will probably avoid the rain and will enjoy a good meal too. :sunny:
