I just wanted to share about my trip. It was just Merinda (from Alberta Canada) and me (Las Vegas NV). We drove down right after I got off work Tues. 2/15, my 41st Bday by the way:banana:. We stayed over night in Rancho Cucamonga at my sister's house.
First off the bed she had for us to use was a full size. Merinda and I are on the pooh size so this was not a bed that we would be able to avoid bumping into one another  We were tired so we just made the best of it. I couldn't handle it much longer so I woke up and laid there trying not to move and disturb Merinda but I gave up at 6:30am. I decided to take a shower as I was hoping the warm water would help my now aching back.:headache:. When I came back into the room Merinda was more than happy to get up too and get this show on the road. We discussed how we will need out ponchos as it rained all night too.
So by 7:45am. We were ready to load the car again. The rain was still coming down but we didn't care as we new this meant less crowds. :thumbsup2
On the road but going very slowly we made our way to the hotel. We were staying at the Desert Inn. I have to say it was a great spot to be. I loved being able to walk right over. The rain had died down but it was still cool and wet out. We ate next door at Denney's for breakfast. It wasn't bad either but the service wasn't great.
Now we were on our way again. We went to Disneyland for our first day. We had park hoppers but just stayed at DL that day. It was great being able to walk right on rides. The longest wait was maybe 10 min for Space Mnt. :worship: We took our time looked around and just enjoyed things so much more than when your hands are full with kids.;) Not saying I don't love going with the kids but you get what I mean.
After several hours of fun. We went to find an Olive Garden for Dinner. That was quite the search.:rotfl: Once we were done we had signed up for a time share thing. So we went and did that and made our $100 for the day.:cool1:
We stopped off at the local liquor store for some wine and made our way to our room. It wasn't a great room but it wasn't a bad room either. I was happy with it. Boy did that wine hit the spot after such a great day. We both slept wonderfully.
Woke up so refreshed and got ready for our day of California Adv. We ate our continental breakfast and walked to the park. The sun was shinning and the day was just gorgeous. We went on all our fav. rides but still not much in lines. The longest was for toy story and it was maybe 15 min? Maybe a bit longer only because it stopped for some repair but that only lasted a couple min. :confused3 We went over to Disney for lunch. I had to have the Monte Cristo sandwich. Merinda didn't want anything form there so she had a few bites of mine then we went for some Mexican food for her. Still in no hurry.
We now went on a couple more rides again and it was now time to shop for the gifts to bring home.
When done with our purchases we made our way back to get the car and hit the road to head back to Vegas. We had such a great mini trip. I couldn't have asked for anything more than well more time.:teacher:

Sounds like a lot of fun!! Glad it the weather wasn't too too icky. I once went to Disneyland when it was POURING and there was thunder and lightening!! :scared1:It was pretty crazy!
