Just had to get it "out" as this is the second day in a row that this has happened.

People at red lights. Why do they sit so far back from the car in front of them, and then when they FINALLY get moving, they have lagged so far behind the person before them that the light sensor thinks no more cars are coming. Then the light turns yellow. They go through. I don't make it through. TWO DAYS IN A ROW. :crazy2:

I'm in the D.C. area so LOTS of traffic, lots of lights. I make a lot of left turns in the morning. Believe it or not, the left turn lights are very *generous* and they let a lot of cars through IF, and only if, people keep up with the flow and don't let too many car lengths between them.

But...sigh....so many people cannot do it.

I feel your pain. What you need is one of those rocket launchers that James Bond has on his car...that'll get 'em going.

I may be one of the "offenders". I stay back because I don't want my heater to pull in the exhaust fumes from the car in front of me. However, when the light is green, I am ready to move. Sorry for your commuting pains.
