Last week DH and I decided to take a mini vacay to WDW to coincide with something I have at work, I will be in Orlando anyway! My work will only take up a few hours, but I would have to stay overnight, so we figured why not take the kids and go to WDW while we're there!

I have two sons, (8 and 6) and they are HUUUUUGE SW fans, so we were so excited to be able to take them and try to get them into JTA (they will FREAK OUT) and to ride ST, etc. My DD is 2 and has never been, and is into all things princess. She won't even care that much about the rides, she will just die to see the princesses in real life!

So we will be there THIS thursday, probably around lunchtime or so? We have no dining plans, obviously, and we've done the DDP and eaten at all the fab places and will go back later this year for the full enchilada, so that's not a big deal to me for this trip. We will just do quick service meals wherever we are at the time.

We think we should do MK on Thursday for the half day, try to stay late for the parade? I know DD wants to see the castle, some princesses, and the boys will want to ride Buzz Lightyear, Pirates of the Caribbean, etc, so I made a map on wdw.com of the rides they loved best.

Then Friday we will do HS for SWW and DH knows he must run to sign up for JTA for both boys, and I will go get FP for ST for the three of them--DD is still too small. While they are doing ST I will take her to Disney playhouse, etc, things the boys won't care about.

Here's my question...should we do HS on Thursday instead? Will there be less crowds? Are the stars only there Fri-Sun to sign autographs? Are Darth Vader, other characters there on Thursdays walking around as well, or is this only on the weekend? And if we go that late on Thursday do my kids even have a chance of getting in to JTA?

My DD has Sensory Processing Disorder, so while I would love to plan the whole day for her to the hilt, I really won't know how she can deal with the crowds, etc until we're there, which is why I like the idea of this dry run before our big trip! We are staying at a resort off site that has plenty to do in case she can't handle it, I will just take her back and relax in the pool, etc.

The most important thing for this trip is the JTA for my boys!! Any suggestions on which day would be better?? TIA!
