My Top 5 Meals:
1. Via Napoli (dinner) - We had a large pepperoni pizza with basil. This was wonderful: the sauce, the cheese, the crust - just perfect. And I am very picky about my pizza. We also had the tiramisu, which was excellent.
2. Sanaa (lunch) - I can't believe this place isn't busier.
We got a table by the window and saw so many animals while we ate. Bread service was amazing - we got all naan. It was so fresh and bubbly. For sauces we got cucumber raita, garlic pickle, and roasted red bell pepper hummus. Garlic pickle was my favorite.
I also got the tomato soup with paneer cheese. Delicious. Soup and cheese both had a nice flavor and texture and was served at a good temperature.
For my entrée I got the slow cooked assortment. I chose the basmati rice which was nicely seasoned. I chose the chicken with red curry sauce, a very pleasant flavor, and another, which is not showing on their menu they have up right now chicken durbin? Not sure if I am spelling that right, but wow, was that good had a nice spicy kick. It would not be for everyone, but I loved it.
My husband got the tandoori chicken, said it was good, and polished it all off, but I didnt taste it. It was a hard decision whether to make this one or two on my list. Really, I think Sanaa tied for #1 with Via Napoli.
3. Yak and Yeti (lunch) I got the chicken lo mien. Nice portion size, hot, and tasted great. My husband the got ribs and they were so good falling off the bone. My husbands chili slaw could have used more zing for sure, and the egg rolls we got here nice and hot, but no different from what you would get at a typical restaurant I would probably not get them again; I would try something else.
4. 50s Prime Time Café (dinner) We both got the fried chicken. Crisp, hot, juicy, what more can I say? A treat because we stay away from foods like that for the most part at this point in our lives!
5. Liberty Tree Tavern (dinner) Yeah, I know the food is a little processed, but after a hard day of touring, it was so nice to get off our feet and have some comfort food. You cant beat the atmosphere here. Salad was a little wilted and didnt have much dressing on it (although my husband thought it was fine, so maybe we just needed to toss it). Good bread, meats and gravy were good, especially the steak. I loved the mashed potatoes. Stuffing was good. We liked the dessert. This place is just becoming tradition for us!
