I booked a trip last night - and its 2 weeks and 3 days away!

A bit random; we weren't meaning to go this year at all, and its only four months since our last trip. But I rather spoiled our last trip by being exceeeepppppttttionally stressed out and a bit miserable. I'm better now. So I'm treating Mr EK to a 'we havent' got any money so lets spend what we do have on a random trip to DLP' present.

where are staying? my trip was quite a random thing to, been booked bout 3 weeks, my friend took me in oct last year, then phoned me the other week if i wanted to go again......well why not

Hi Ljay - we're in the DLH. I can't believe we're doing this - its so unexpected! I'm ridiculously looking forward to it.

ASW....I know. Dreadful, isn't it. I'm just not really paying attention at the moment. Before you know it I'll have gone online and booked dinner (shhh, surprise for Mr EK) at our favourite restaurant on the Sunday night. How very slapdash of me.

Its all very unfortunate. I've had to buy a new coat and everything. Tragic.

My partner has been sweet he's like go have good time take loads of euros, but ive gone mad on buying pre trip clothes, i just love scarves

Don't buy too much - you'll never be able to resist the scarves and hats and gloves and jumpers and stuff at DLP! Remember the first shop on the left as you go under the DLH hotel is a discounty sort of store (we got a great deal on Mr EK's hat last time). And try Mickey's Galleria shop in the DLH itself - v swish (and go on, have a cocktail in the piano bar whilst you're in there).

the Santa Fe is good - I actually preferred it to the SL on the basis of the room - although give the bar a miss and go somewhere else. DLH or SL for choice.

I know, im not sure what the shop is called but its the big clothes store in the disney village on the right as you come in from the Hotel direction! i just love it in there there was tops pj's loads! i just couldnt afford it all last time i went
